In this video, belly dancer Irina Akulenko teaches you how to do hip lifts and a basic shimmy. You'll be shaking it like Shakira in no time. So, now, we are going to go over the basic hip lift. Let's assume our basic belly dance posture position. So, the legs are right under the hip bones. Knees are bent. Lower abs are tucked, chest lifted, arms out. And now you are going to bend the knees even more than before and focus on lifting one hip at a time by straightening one knee at a time. So, as you straighten the right knee, the right hip will come up and it is going to shoot straight up into your body. So you want to think about meeting your hip bone up to the ribcage coming back down to center. Switching over to the other side, straightening that knee, coming back down. Make sure you're keeping your heels on the floor and you are not lifting up with any point. And again, lifting the hip up and back down to neutral position, the other side back down to position. Now, skip that hold in the middle and you're going to go up, and up and up, and up. And, the closer your are to the ground, the easier it will be to find that isolation. Let's try that with music. And a little bit faster, keeping your heels on the floor, chest floating out, arms relaxed. Make sure you are not moving in space and your head is not bopping up and down. And faster. And full speed. And that is the basic hip isolation.

Watch more Boot Camp: Learn about Basic Training videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/498698-How-to-Increase-PushUps-by-400-Boot-Camp No doubt about it in basic training you're gonna gave to do a lot of push ups so you're gonna want to get your push up count as high as possible before you ever meet your drill sergeants. Let me show you the way to do that. You can increase your push up count considerably with this quick and easy routine. First thing you want to do is you want to do some jumping jacks to warm up your body, ok. Just a few. If you can do 25, 30 great. Jumping jacks are simple just like this, ok. Now once your body is warmed up this is the routine you'll really have to do to increase your push up count. The first thing you're gonna wanna do is do diamond push ups to exhaustion and when I mean to exhaustion I mean till you literally cannot push yourself off anymore, ok. And a diamond push up is when your hands are on the ground and it looks like this it's making a diamond. Alright, starting position your arm is straight gonna come down as far as possible gonna push yourself back up. Now again work to exhaustion. Then I want you to wait 30 seconds. Do a normal push up where your hands are normal length. Shoulder width apart, ok. Again you're going to exhaustion. And I'm gonna tell you the reason you're gonna go in this order in just a few minutes. Now we're gonna do wide grip push ups. So your hands are gonna be even farther apart then the normal grip of course. Nice and wide. So in between each of the diamond, the normal and the wide grip you're gonna be taking a 30 second break, gonna be working each to exhaustion. All of those three exercises is one set. You're gonna wanna do three of those every other day and if you're used to where you can do those three exercises without any problems do four sets then five sets then six sets however long you have to go until basic training. Now here's a tip when you're doing diamond push ups you're working your fast twitch muscle fibers in your triceps. When you're doing wide grip you're working your slow twitch muscle fibers in your chest. You're building up your chest your arms and your triceps all on one where you do each of the three variations of push ups. So if you could do twenty push ups before you even start this exercise you should easily be able to do 80 without stopping after you've done a few weeks of this exercise.

Watch more Dreams & Dream Interpretation videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/35924-How-to-Lucid-Dream Learning how to lucid dream—that is, to be aware during your dreams that you are, indeed, dreaming—will allow you to live out fantasies, stop nightmares, and even road test some solutions to real life problems. Step 1: Start a dream journal Keep a journal and a pen next to your bed so you can immediately record everything that happens in your dreams. You’ll begin to see patterns, and that will help you realize when you’re actually in the middle of a dream. Step 2: Adopt some new habits Look intently at mirrors, book titles, and your watch face several times a day. In dreams, these images are always blurred. Looking at them while awake will increase their appearances in your dreams, helping you recognize when you are dreaming. Tip Pinching yourself when you’re awake is another good way to train your brain to recognize when you’re dreaming, because when you pinch yourself in a dream you feel no pain. Step 3: Talk to yourself Tell yourself as you drift off to sleep that you’re going to have a lucid dream. Research shows that simply instructing your brain to realize you’re dreaming—especially when you’re in the suggestible pre-sleep phase—helps boost your odds of doing so. Step 4: Set an early alarm Set your alarm half an hour earlier than normal. When it rings, stay awake 30 to 60 minutes, then go back to sleep. Because you likely interrupted dream-intense REM sleep, you’re now 20% to 50% more likely to have a lucid dream. Tip So George Clooney is about to kiss you and you feel like you’re starting to wake up? Pretend to spin around in circles. This keeps the dream going 96% of the time. Step 5: Start directing Once you’re attuned to the fact that you’re dreaming, start altering the action. Fly over mountains. Tell off your mother-in-law. Have a 'dream' date. You can also test problem-solving scenarios, practice sensitive confrontations, and speak to loved ones who have passed. Did You Know? Lewis Carroll was inspired to write Alice in Wonderland after having a lucid dream.

Want to learn more about the legacy and culture of Step Dancing? Soul Steppin: http://amzn.to/1FVn9vR Stomp The Yard: http://amzn.to/1QbUz9A Jabbawockeez Dance Black T-shirt: http://amzn.to/1VHI9I7 Watch more How to Step Dance videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/513421-How-to-Do-a-Simple-Step-for-Beginners-Step-Dance Hi, my name is Victor Sho, and this is my assistant Oscar Acevedo, and we are going to teach you a beginner level of how to combine a step to a bass beat. So we're going to start off teaching you the bass beat and then Oscar will always do the bass beat. And I will you another step, which is just one step routine that you will do one at a time and then together. Alright? So, we start off with our bass beat. What we're going to do is do a single stomp with our right leg, and then you go onto your left and do a hand clap. Okay? So you're going to go boom, boom clap. Five, six, seven, and right, left right. Five, six, seven, and right, left, right. Then you're going to go right, left clap, boom, bop. Right, left clap, right stomp, right thigh. So it goes five, six, seven, and. So now you're going to add your left stomp and another hand clap right after that. So it's going to go boom, boom bop, boom, bop, boom, bop. After we do this phrase right here, five, six, seven, and [dances], you're going to do another single stomp right here, another left single stomp, and a clap. Do another hand clap. Okay? So let's combine that right there. So you're going to go boom, boom clap, boom, bop, boom, bop. Boom, boom, bop. Cool? So now, right now, you've got to understand that we just, our last stomp was on our left leg but we're going to do another stomp on the left leg to now clap over the right and then under the right. Okay? So it's going to go, let's take it from here. Boom, boom bop, boom, clap, clap. Okay? So let's combine that all together. So it should sound something like this. So it should go boom, boom bop, boom, bop, boom, bop. Boom, boom bop, boom, bop, bop. Okay? And then we're going to do this one more time. So now we loop it, yeah? So this right leg is up and you're just going to use that next stomp to start it all over again. And it's just going to go boom, boom bop, boom, bop, boom, bop. Boom, boom bop, boom, bop, bop, and finish, boom. So now, that is our bass beat. And it sounds pretty much like this. Five, six, five, six, five, six, seven, and [dances]. And that's your bass beat. So now we're going to add the actual step that we need to learn to combine with this bass beat. You ready? Here we go. We stomp with our left leg, and clap over our right and then under our right. We want to stomp with our right leg and clap over our left and then under our left. And the beat goes boom, bop, bop, boom, bop, bop. One more time. Five, six, seven, and a [dances]. Okay? So right now you're going to stomp this leg right here, boom, and then clap with your hand. Okay? Then you're going to go, to combine it together it's going to go boom, bop, bop, boom, bop, bop, boom, clap. Okay? And then you're going to take a stomp with your right leg, boom, and hit both your thighs with your hands, bop. So it's going to go five, six, seven, and boom, bop, bop, boom, bop, bop, boom, bop. Boom, bop. To finish that off you're going to stomp with your left leg and clap twice with your hands. Boom, bop, bop. Cool? So let's add that on. So it's going to go boom, bop, bop, boom, bop, bop, boom, bop. Boom, bop, boom bop. Bop. Okay? So now to finish this you're going to do it one more time again but the ending is going to be a little bit difference. So after you said boom, bop, bop, boom, bop, bop, boom bop. Boom, bop, boom bop. Bop. You're going to do it one more time. Boom, bop, bop, boom, bop, bop, boom bop. Boom, bop, boom bop. And now this ending is where the difference comes. You're going to do two doubles and end off with a single. Ba-boom, ba-boom, boom. Once again, after you hit your thighs right here you're going to go right left, right left, right. Okay? So let's combine it, just that second part. So you're going to go boom, bop, bop, boom, bop, bop, boom bop. Boom, bop, boom bop. Ba-boom, ba-boom, boom. Okay? So now when you put it all together for just the step alone it sounds like this. So now we're going to take that step and mix it with the bass beat to create a whole new beat. Are you ready? I'm going to do it slow, in tempo, and then we're done. Here we go. Five, six, five, six, five, six, seven and. And that's how you do it.

Jungle Bob is here to show you that owning a pet reptile or amphibian is not as crazy as you might think. In this video, he tells you seven cool facts about bearded dragons. When we think of the continent of Australia, we think of unusual animals right away, from kangaroos to platypuses to wallabies. They're all over there in Australia, it seems. But there are some that are not that unusual, just fantastic creatures. And one of them is the Pogona Vitticeps, the Bearded Dragon. There's a number of different species in Australia, but the popular one is the dragon you see in front of you here, that has dominated the pet world now for the last 20 to 25 years. In their native Australia, they're inquisitive creatures that easily inhabit areas where people are. They like to climb fence posts and look out to see what's going on. Males will dominate a territory and have multiple females as mates. And they're prolific breeders. They have up to 20 eggs at a time and they dominate the landscape they come from. They're quick when they have to be to escape predators. They're extremely fast runners. For the most part, they're kind of sit there and look out and see what's going on animals in the wild. They're very fun and animated to watch. They'll eat a variety of things from insects to greens to small pieces of meat, such as rodents. Bearded Dragons are largely protected now in their native Australia. They're no longer exported, which is very good. Thank you, Australia, for allowing us to have some of them. But because of their prolific nature, they are no longer hunted there and they're free to multiply and grow in Australia without any danger of being threatened by the pet trade or by confiscation. The Bearded Dragon gets his name, as you can see, the big male here is going to get a little territorial. First he gets up on his front limbs. And if he gets really agitated with the smaller one in front of him, he'll do two things. First, he'll start bobbing his head up and down to say, "I'm the biggest dragon in this area, so back off." And if that doesn't work, he actually throws out his throat. It turns black and he puffs it out. It looks like a big black beard. And that's where the animal gets his name. The Bearded Dragon will do that every time an animal is reintroduced into its area. If he wants to threaten it, he will throw that beard out. Sometimes in captivity they don't bother doing it anymore because they're so docile by nature and he knows this other dragon, so he's not really doing it at this moment. But two males together, one will dominate the other. He'll say, "I'm the biggest dragon here." If the other one is of equal size and equal temperament, they will fight. If not, the smaller one actually submits. And what they do is take their arm and they move it ever so slowly in a counter clockwise direction and the larger dragon will understand that that's like a person saying, "Don't hit me." He puts his hands up and says, "I don't want to fight." So, they work things out together in nature. In nature, of course, they can disappear and run in different areas. In a captive environment, they have to have that submissive language going back and forth between them in order to avoid fights in captivity. The Bearded Dragon, an Australian treasure for sure.

So right now I'm going to share with you five advanced techniques, some moves that you might not always think about, but some pretty interesting ways to kind of use your body and coordinate some motion. The first example is something called a rose move, and a rose move is when you actually open away from the walls, that your hips are facing in a different direction. Often times the way the holds are laid out on the wall will dictate whether or not these types of moves are going to be necessary. So the rose move would be when my left hand was here, and I'm crossing underneath with my right hand, turning my hips away from the wall. Another example of an advanced technique will be what's known as a knee bar. A knee bar is when you're using not necessarily your knee, but more commonly the to of your thigh, and you're going to use that thigh and your foot to really create some opposition and allow your body to really be weighted on just that knee bar, and the tension that you're getting between those two points. So right there you'll notice I can take all my body weight and place it right here on this knee bar with my left foot really pushing and getting that thigh up against that hold, which allows me to turn this corner. One other technique would be similar to using a toe hook, except you're using two toe hooks at the same time, which is also known as a bat hang. In this instance, a bat hang allows me to make this change in angle and complete this transition. So that would be a bat hang. Another technique is something known as a bicycle, and a bicycle is where you're using the bottom side of your toe and the top of your toe, which would be a toe hook, at the same time to basically squeeze one hold or two holds together to create that same sense of opposition, almost like closing a vice. So right here I'll use a bicycle on this yellow hold to keep both of my feet up, keep my body in position. So in this position, you can see one leg is pulling, the other leg is pushing the whole time, I have my core involved to help keep those legs up, my body in position. That's how you use a bicycle. The final move here is something known as a drop knee. The drop knee is a great way to kind of lower your center of gravity, and keep it in your base of support, which are the contact points you have with the wall. When your center of gravity is lower, your base of support, it makes you more stable, more capable of doing a move slowly, with a bit more control. So to get into the drop knee, I'll place my left foot on this hold, and then literally turn my knee in, dropping it down, and twisting up. That drop knee allows you to really keep your center of gravity nice and low within your base of support, making your body nice and balanced and stable, really allows you to suck that hip in nice and close to the wall, to get a little bit of extra reach out of that whole system. And those are a couple of advanced bouldering techniques you might encounter here in the gym.

Okay? I have Chad here again. He's going to throw the double jab at me, which is a basic combination with the hands. And again, instead of throwing the, or parrying, alright, I want to slip the jab either outside or I can slip the jab inside. Okay? When I slip, again, I want to make sure I'm in a good base. I don't want to move my feet as I'm moving my head. So Chad throws a jab, I'll slip to the outside but I want to make sure I slip in on a 45. I don't want to slip out because it'll leave me off balance. So I want to slip in so that I'm in range to maybe counter, you know, for a boxing technique or maybe I can follow up with some knees, whatever that might be. If I slip to the inside, same concept. I want to make sure my head is in on a 45. I don't want to slip my head away because it will leave me off balance. Okay? So he'll throw the jab again, I'll slip to the inside. Okay? Make sure you keep the hands up as you slip. Don't get fancy and leave your hands down. He throws a jab, I'm going to keep the hands up so maybe I can counter. Okay? So now I'll throw the double jab, or I'll throw the jabs at Chad. He'll demo an MMA transition for slipping. He'll slip to the outside and he'll shoot in for that double leg. Okay? Maybe he'll slip to the inside and he'll come in for that clinch. Okay? So basic head movement or slipping for basic punches. Alright, so a basic counter, a Muay Thai counter, off of slipping with a jab, what I can do is use that left leg either to the head or to the body. So I'm going to slip my head out, get that left leg going to the body, obviously the head if he drops that right hand. Okay? So again, as I slip, I switch my feet and then I fire that left leg. Okay? If I throw the jab at Chad he'll come in for that double leg take down and he'll lift, okay? So there's two transitions, Muay Thai or MMA, for your jab.

Watch more How to Take Care of a Pet Bird videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/217448-How-to-Train-Your-Bird-to-Talk Birds aren't like babies—you can't expect them to pick up speech just by babbling away at them. You need a plan. Step 1: Pick the right breed If you haven’t already bought Tweety, pick a breed that is known for its chattiness. Amazon parrots and African greys are the gabbiest, followed by macaws, male cockatiels, mynahs, and parakeets. Tip Female cockatiels, female budgies, grass parakeets, rosellas, and canaries don’t talk. Step 2: Choose an inquisitive bird Once you’ve narrowed your choices to a talkative breed, focus your attention on choosing a bird that seems alert and interested in what’s going on around him. These are clues that he’ll make a good talker. Step 3: Get a young bird Get a young bird. Like the proverbial old dog who can’t learn new tricks, an older bird is going to have more trouble picking up speech. Step 4: Name that bird Give the bird a name that is no more than two syllables. A longer name reduces the chances that he will learn to say his own name. Step 5: Designate a teacher If you’re married and/or have children, pick one person to teach the bird. If several people are trying to instruct the bird, it will only confuse it. Tip Birds learn more easily from women. Step 6: Time your training Start training at the optimal time. For smaller birds, that’s at four to six months. For bigger birds, wait until they’re six to twelve months. Tip Don’t teach a bird to whistle before training him to talk, or it will make the speech lessons that much harder. Step 7: Keep it simple Start training by saying a few simple words to Tweety, always using them under the same circumstances. For example, you could say 'Good morning' every day when you first rise, and you could reserve 'Bye' for when the bird can see you walk out the door. Step 8: Repeat words Repeat the words several times in each instance. You want the bird to start associating the sound you are making with the context. Step 9: Reward speech Give Tweety a treat every time he repeats something you are teaching him. Tip Remember that birds don’t just repeat what you want them to; they mimic sounds they hear. So if you’re suffering a bout of loud flatulence, or getting ready to rip someone a new one, stay out of Tweety’s earshot. Step 10: Unteach them If Tweety has picked up a bad word, washing his mouth out with soap won’t work. But ignoring him when he repeats the word will, because getting your attention is his main incentive. Step 11: Enjoy Now enjoy chatting with your fine-feathered friend! Did You Know? Talking birds often will imitate your phone’s ring tone because they get a kick out of watching you come running.

Watch more Driving & Car Safety videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/273963-How-to-HotWire-a-Car No keys and no help in sight? Here's how to get your car moving again. Warning Hot-wiring a car is dangerous and is likely to damage your vehicle. Never hot-wire anyone's car but yours and be prepared to show your proof of ownership. Step 1: Try a screwdriver Pound a flat-head screwdriver into the ignition and turn it like a key. This will ruin the ignition cylinder, but it's effective on many cars manufactured before the mid '90s. Step 2: Remove the ignition cover If the car doesn't start, pull the screwdriver out of the ignition and remove the screws in the panels on the top and bottom of the steering column. Next, use the flat-head screwdriver to pry off the plastic panels and expose the ignition cylinder and the wires running to it. Be gentle to minimize damage to the steering column. Step 3: Identify the battery and starter wires Identify the battery and starter wires. Generally the two red wires handle the car's power, and the one or two brown wires connect to the starter. Consult your car's manual to learn its specific wire color code. Step 4: Connect the power wires Put on the gloves, and use the cutters to cut the power wires from the cylinder. Then, strip the ends and connect them by twisting them together to provide power to the lights, radio, and other electrical systems. Step 5: Connect the starter wires Cut the starter wires from the cylinder and strip the ends. Be extremely careful not to touch the exposed ends as they carry a powerful live current and will shock you. Touch them together, and as soon as the car has started, pull them apart and tape the ends to avoid getting shocked while driving. Tip If the car has only has one starter wire, touch it to the exposed part of the connected power wires to start the car. Step 6: Deal with additional security Deal with additional security. In some cars the steering-wheel lock's bolt can be pried open by jamming a screwdriver between the top of the steering column and the steering wheel. Tip Newer cars have complex wheel locks and electronic key systems that are nearly impossible to circumvent without tools and in-depth knowledge. Step 7: Turn the car off Turn the car off by separating the power wires from each other. Now it's time to find that extra set of keys and head to the repair shop, pronto. Did You Know? In 2008, vehicle thefts in the U.S. declined for the fifth year in a row.

The most important thing is how to finish your flair routine. You're doing all sorts of stuff, bottles are going all over the place, everyone's sitting there like this watching everything you're doing all in awe, how do you finish, how to you pour the bottle? The last thing you want to do is do all this crazy stuff, and then just take the bottle and go like that, it's anticlimactic, it doesn't work. So what we want to do is we want to learn how to do is Flip to Pour. What you're going to do is you're going to hold your bottle in what's called a bartender grip. Instead of holding it like this, we're going to hold it by the neck just like a bartender would take it out of the bottle or out of their well. What we're going to do is we're going to take our bottle, we're going to take our tin, the mouth is going to face up because that's what we're going to pour it into. We're going to take our bottle and you're going to snap it outward, away from your body, and what you're going to do is as soon as you let go of your bottle you're going to simply open your hand and the bottle is going to fall right back into it. It looks like this, it's really easy actually. It's a one-rotation, you're just going to snap, open, and let the bottle fall into your hand It's already in a pouring position. With your other hand you're going to have your tin set here ready to go. You're going to flip, catch, and you're already pouring the bottle. Then as you get more and more comfortable, you go to glass with liquid in it. Because we're flipping the bottle centrifugal force is involved so we want to make sure that the bottle has less than two ounces, or two ounces or less. Any more than that and this move can't be done, we'd have to figure out a different way to pour. Maybe we could take the bottle and throw it around our head, but in this case what we're going to do is, we're going to take our bottle, our tin, we're going to set it, we're going to flip, and we're going to pour. When you're done you bring your bottle down to cut the pour and then were going to just put our tin on the bar. If we're doing shots maybe we'll pour it straight from a tin into our glass. So again, just to reiterate the concept, we're going to take our bottle, we're going to put our tin here, we're going to flip our bottle, catch our bottle, and pour. When we're ready to stop we're going to simply bring our bottle down, we're going to pour it into our glass or whatever we're pouring it into, and that is how you do a Bottle Flip to a Pour.

First of all the marines, they are considered riflemen first. They have more marksmanship training than any other branch, and it has the most difficult basic training regimen. They have the incredible ability to convert dollar power into combat power, as they have no big budget like the Air Force, but they also have lots of military pride. Let's talk about the army, which has the second most intense basic training regimen. They have about three weeks of marksmanship, and recruits can pick from hundreds of different MOS's, which stands for military occupational specialty, and those MOS's translate well into civilian jobs. The navy: deep rooted with tradition, and if you like to travel this is the branch for you. Family men might want to consider the time they are going to spend away from their family though, given the fact that all of the time you are going to spend on ships. Also, if you are claustrophobic, it might not be a good idea to join the Navy, as you are going to be spending a lot of time in tight quarters. If you like large vessels and ships, the Navy is definitely the way to go. They have an awesome inventory of powerful ships. Let's talk about the Air Force. An impressive compilation of machinery and technology. If you are good with computers and technology this is definitely the branch that you should join. It also has the best housing of all the branches too. It's also the most difficult to get into as far as education requirements. The Coast Guard, Uncle Sam's little canoe club. If you like search and rescue missions, if you have an interest in maritime law, if you like environmental protection this is gonna be a good branch for you. You are going to need a high school diploma, and you are going to need to love to swim in order to join the coast guard. And that's it. Think long and hard about your decision because it is difficult to change once you have committed to a certain branch.

It is both mentally and physically enriching for your dog and it improves your skills as your dogs trainer. an easy trick that you can get started with would be paw, or some people refer to that as shake and what you want to make sure you do with tricks training is keep the training fun and positive for your dog. A good recommendation I'd like to give everyone is to resist the temptation to grab whenever training any behavior - you want them to think it through and in order for them to do that you need to break it down into small achievable steps so you're not necessarily looking for the end result you're looking for anything that's moving in the direction of that. So for paw I'm not going to grab at his feet because he might not like that he's also not using his brain if I'm doing the work for him so dogs if they often cannot get something with their mouth they use their feet so I'm going to put a treat right on Jack's nose and I'm going to have my hand ready when he tries to knock them out of my hand because he can't get them with his mouth and I'm just going to wait for that - I'm going to wait for any paw movement whatsoever - he moved his left paw just a little bit so that was a nice baby step - good I got a lot of movement out of the right one - I'm going to try again - good - I say the word good every time he does the behavior correctly and slowly it seems that I will be able to shake with his paw. The repetition of hearing the word good when his paw touches my paw so he makes that association. So now I think I'm ready to take the treats away - good - he ois still going to get one but I don't necessarily want to put them up front anymore and then we can work with a little duration so he can hold it there - oh beautiful - good and now that he's doing that readily if I'd like to put a verbal que on it I'm going to be able to say - Jack - paw - good - and now I've taught my dog to give paw.

Eric: This is called a spin-back dribble. Dwayne: Spin-back. Eric: It's hard to explain these kind of dribbles, because this is kind of something you have to really practice on Dwayne: Oh, really? Eric: But we're going to try to break it down using the expert dribbler. Dwayne: Okay. Eric: The Roadrunner. Dwayne: Alright. Eric: So you actually want to show the defender. Dwayne: Right. Eric: Your back. Dwayne: Back. Eric: So the defender sees you in front of him first. Dwayne: Right. Eric: And then you actually turn around while maintaining the dribble, and you put the ball in front of him, giving him the illusion he can get it. Dwayne: Right. Eric: But your hands are so quick. Dwayne: Right. Eric: That he's not able to steal the ball. It sounds very complicated. Dwayne: Okay, okay. Eric: But when you become an expert like the Roadrunner, it's child's-play. Dwayne: Alright. Let's see it. Let's see it. Eric: So you're looking at the defender. You go right up on him. Show him your back. Bam. Dwayne: Oh, wow. Eric: That's quick. Bam. Spin-back dribble. Dwayne: And you're certain that these moves work? Because, you know, I've been playing defense all day long, and I'm not really sure. The other ones, but this one? You know what? Come on. I'm playing defense again, because I don't ... Eric: Hey, Swoop, are you sure? Dwayne: No, listen, listen. I can get the ball. I'm going to get the ball. I'm watching you little guy. I'm Mike Patrick, and this is how to do the classic Cups And Balls Trick. You have three balls and three cups. You place one of the balls onto the center cup, stack and then snap, and then one of the balls magically goes through the cups. I can do it again. I place this ball on top. Give it a snap of the fingers and the ball goes right through. It happens every single time whether you want it to or not. And that's the classic Cups And Balls Trick. Now this is a very fancy set of cups, but you can do it with any cups. If you have coffee cups that you can get from Starbucks, you can do it with Starbucks cups and some napkins. That's probably the best way of doing it, because you can just do it in front of your friends, impromptu. It's the easiest method. You need three balls. Actually more specifically, you need four balls. The fourth ball is secret. They never get to know about this. The fourth ball is put in the middle cup. So if you have three cups, you should have cup A, nothing, cup B, that's the ball inside, and then cup C goes on the bottom of this. If you hold the cups in your hand like this, they can see the mouth of this cup, and by grabbing the bottommost cup, you rotate it towards yourself and you put it down. The second cup actually has a ball inside of it, so you don't want to do this, because they'll see the ball. What you do is, again, you rotate it towards yourself, and you do it quickly enough, not fast, but enough so the ball doesn't fall out before the cup hits the table. You place this down. This is essentially what you're going to be doing over and over again. So what you do, is you place this ball on top, you stack them on top, snap your fingers and show that the ball has apparently went through the cup. You do the exact same thing. Re-stack the cups. Place them in a line. Now there are two balls under this cup. When you place this on top, snap, goes through, and then finally you do it one more time, and that makes all three balls go through. And that is how you do the classic Cups And Balls Trick.

Broadway: ... to make sure everybody's in their correct position when he calls the play. Swoop: OK. Broadway: So King Arthur's usually gonna use hand signals, or talk and say, "Hey, move over there.' Whatever the case may be. And make sure everybody's in the right place on the court. Swoop: OK. OK. Broadway: Now, he initiates the offense, and the defense. Swoop: Oh, OK. Broadway: So that's the point guard. His job is to know where everybody is on the court at all times. And he's gotta know everybody's positions. Swoop: OK. Broadway: So, then we'll move to my position. Swoop: Oh, no, you said, i could pick. I want the shooting guard. Broadway: No, no, no. Swoop: You said, I could shoot. Broadway: No, I'm the shooting guard. Swoop: Look at my, it's good. Broadway: No, no, no. Swoop: Look at the ... Broadway: I'm the shooting guard. Swoop: Oh, OK. All right. Broadway: So the shooting guard's job is just self-explanatory. Swoop: Right. Broadway: It's to shoot the ball. Swoop: Oh, OK. Broadway: A good shooting guard is somebody who can dribble ... Swoop: Right. Broadway: ... and attack the basket, as well as shoot. His primary goal is to put the ball in the basket, and get the team points. Swoop: All right. Sounds good. Broadway: Now, we're gonna move to what's called a three man, or wing man. Swoop: Three man. Oh, yeah, I could do that. I could do that. I'm a wing. I'm a good wing man. The wing man, or the three man, is usually the best athlete on the court. Swoop: Uh-huh. Broadway: So Mr. 540 is gonna do a little bit of everything. Swoop: Yeah. Broadway: On the offense if he can shoot the shot, it's good. Swoop: Yeah, yeah. Broadway: But mostly he wants to finish in transition. Swoop: Finish. Broadway: He wants to be able to slash to the basket. Swoop: OK. Broadway: Defensively and offensively, he wants to help out on the backboards and get rebounds. Swoop: OK. OK. Now, when it comes to potty training your parrot, the thing you need to realize is that birds are wild animals. They're going to poop every 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the species. So, the first thing you got to do is get out of your mind that you're going to have a perfect potty train that'll never poop on anything. Because no matter how good of a job you do, accidents will still happen. So, stock up on good cleaning supplies: a wetvac, a mop, anything you can use to clean your parrots nest is good. The less of a big deal you make about the parrot making a mess, the less you're going to encourage any of that type of behavior. Another strategy is to keep the parrot on parrot-approved places, like this tree right here. The bottom is made to be easy to clean. So, if the parrots spent a lot of their time on parrot places instead of on human furniture, you're less likely to have a mess throughout your house. Part of the strategy for keeping your parent on parrot-approved places is to do a lot of training, like the tricks we've been going over. If you teach your parrots tricks on their training arches and trees, they're more familiar with spending time on those places and their more likely to go over to them when they're out and about. Now, when it comes to actually the potty training process, you can't really do it the same way that you teach normal tricks such as clicking and giving a treat. That's known to make parrots hold it in for too long and that can actually hurt their digestive system. So, instead, it's important to encourage the parrot to poop on it's designated places but not mandate it. So, the strategy is to realize how long between poops that your bird goes. If you realize that you have a small bird and it goes every five minutes, that's going to be the number you go for. The bigger bird might be half an hour. But these guys, maybe about 15 minutes. So, what Im going to do, when I want to just spend time with my bird, I want to have him on my shoulder, on me, I will hold them and make sure that I'm not spending more than the allotted time between when they go to do their business. So, I might pick up the bird and hold it for ten minutes. Knowing that they're going to poop in 15. Play with them, do whatever I want to do with my pet. Then, I'm going to go and put them back down on their stand after ten minutes elapses. Now, I'm going to wait five minutes until they finally take their poop, whatever that comes out to. And as soon as they do, I'm going to make a big deal. Be like "Wow, that was very good! That's great!" And I'll come back over and pick up the bird and spend more time with it again. And then ten minutes goes by. I feel like a next poop is due. Before it can happen, I'll put her back down on the perch and wait until she does it. After you do this for a couple weeks or months, your parrot will catch on that the sooner they do their business when they're put down, the sooner you'll pick them up and keep spending time with them. So, they learn to naturally do more of they're business around their perches instead of on you or on unapproved human furniture areas. If your parrot wings aren't clip and they're flighted, they can even learn to fly back to they're stand when they need to go, which is really convenient if you lose track of timing. If they're familiar and accustomed to pooping on their stand, they'll fly over when they need to go. The last thing you can do to encourage your parrot do it's business on it's poopy perch is when you take it out first thing in the morning, put it down on it's perch and wait until it's goes. Most parrots hold it in at night and they have to go really bad in the morning and they try to avoid going in their cages. So, as soon as you take them out, put them right down on their poopy perch and let them go. And after they're done, you can pick them up and do your normal routine with them. This way, they learn to go to that designated place and to hold it in until you put them down and it's time to do it. So, that's some tips for you about potty training your parrot.

Watch more Chakras, Energy, & Psychic Powers videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/233193-How-to-Read-Palms Learn how to read a person just by looking at their hand using the ancient art of palmistry. Step 1: Read the dominant hand – the one a person uses to write with; it reveals what's going on now. The passive hand represents a person's inherited characteristics. Tip Markedly different lines on each hand indicate a person who has worked hard to change their basic nature. Step 2: Know how to view the lines: Read horizontal lines from the thumb side across, and vertical lines from the wrist up. Step 3: Start with the top horizontal line, or the heart line. A line that's close to the fingers indicates a passionate, sometimes jealous, person. If the line goes straight across, the person keeps a tight rein on their emotions. If it curves up toward the index finger, the person is more outwardly affectionate. Tip Gaps on the heart line suggest the person has known heartbreak. Short lines that cross the heart line show they are very flirtatious and have a hard time staying faithful. Step 4: Look at the next horizontal line, which is the head line. A strong, straight line that goes all the way across the hand indicates a logical, no-nonsense thinker. A zigzag line represents a mind that tends to wander. If the line curves downward toward the wrist, the person is creative and trusting. Step 5: Examine the third major line, which usually slopes from horizontal to vertical, the life line. A strong, deep line suggests a person who is enthusiastic about life and strives to reach their full potential. A shallow or faint line indicates someone with less ambition. Tip Contrary to popular belief, the life line has nothing to do with how long a person will live. Step 6: Check out the fate line, the vertical line in the center of the palm. A strong, straight line indicates a person with a focused career; a faint line suggests someone less happy with their job. Forks and branches represent many starts and stops in a person's career path. Step 7: Don't like what you're seeing? Remember that your fate is not on your hands but in your hands: The existing lines simply represent what has come before. Did You Know? There is evidence that palm reading began in India about 4,500 years ago.

Watch more How to Read Body Language videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/501674-How-to-Spot-Sexual-Attraction-in-Eyes-Body-Language Out of all the different non-verbal behaviors, I think that spotting attraction is without a doubt the easiest. We are very emotional creatures and when we're attracted to somebody, it's very, very difficult to hide. People think they're hiding it, but things always slip. One of the ways they slip are essentially the eyes. There are a lot of different ways you can use the eyes to determine whether or not someone's attracted to you. The first thing is essentially eye contact. For the most part, usually we make eye contact with people that we're interested in or people that we're attracted to. Right? But this is not entirely true. Some people are shy or anxious and they're not going to make eye contact. So what you're looking for essentially is a deviation in eye contact. So one of the ways you can use eye contact and there's a little trick that's very, very reliable. So what you're going to do is if you look at somebody in a bar or restaurant or on the street and they break eye contact vertically, so they look down. So you make eye contact with them and they break eye contact vertically and then within 20-30 seconds they reestablish eye contact, approach them. They like you. It's a very, very reliable thing. Essentially what they're doing. You stare at them. They're submitting to you and then they take a little second glance to see who you are. It's very, very, very reliable. The opposite of that would be if you look at somebody and they look at you and they immediately go and break eye contact. Nope, not interested. But what is reliable is they break eye contact and they come back. Break eye contact and then come back. Break eye contact and then come back. It's very interesting. And don't let it wait. If you see that, go right away because the more and more you wait. The more and more eye contact becomes very, very awkward. One of the things that I do in one of my classes is I have people stare each other in the eyes for three minutes without saying anything. They just stare each other in the eyes like this. Try that. Go out and try to stare somebody in the eyes for even 90 seconds. I guarantee you can't do it. It's awkward. It's so awkward because humans are not really at a level intimacy. When you stare somebody in the eyes is so awkward when you're doing it with a stranger. Studies will show that if you stare somebody in the eyes for 90 seconds to three minutes, all of a sudden you're going to like that person a lot better than everybody else in the room because you kind of shared this emotional connection. So eye contact is important in that respect. The second thing you can look for essentially is blink rate. Now, this is really cool. So blink rate correlate with emotional excitement. When we are emotionally excited, our blink rates tend to increase. Right? Average blink rates tend to be below 20 blinks per minute. For most people it really depends on where you are, but it's really hard to nail down what the average blink rate is. But in my experience, it seems to be around 10 blinks per minute. Right? So you see, whenever you see a sudden spike or a bunch of sudden spikes in somebody's blink rate in can be an indication of attraction. In my dating studies you see blink rates through the roof because the person across the table from you has an emotional response. You're attracted to them. The third way of kind of using the eyes to determine attraction is dilation. It's very interesting. Our eyes dilate when we're attracted to something. Right? Go out and find a Maxim magazine or a Playboy magazine or any cover that's predominately men focusing. Every single woman will have her eyes dilated. You never, ever see them constricted. The reason why is because men perceive women with dilated eyes more attractive than women with more constricted eyes. To the point of back in the day prostitutes used to put a specific toxin in their eyes to make them dilate.

Here's how to survive when they're on the rampage. Warning Seek immediate medical attention if you feel sick, have trouble breathing, experience severe swelling, or exhibit any other signs of an allergic reaction to a bee sting. Step 1: Run Run away as quickly as possible. Avoid swatting or crushing any bees, as this will only worsen the attack. Getting out of there as fast as you can is the best way to neutralize them. Run for at least 100 yards. Tip Don't swat at the bees or wave your arms. Bees are attracted to movements. Step 2: Protect your head As you run, pull your shirt over your head to protect your ears, eyes, nose, and mouth. If you can't do that, use your hands to protect your face, leaving spaces between your fingers so you can see. Step 3: Find shelter Immediately seek the shelter of a building or vehicle. A few bees might follow you indoors, but in a well-lit area the bees can become confused and head for a window. Tip Water does not count as shelter. The bees won't swim, but they'll probably still be waiting for you when you come up for air. Step 4: Get the stingers out Once you reach safety, scrape the stingers out of your skin using your fingernails or any other flat, straight-edged surface. Never pull stingers out with your fingers or tweezers. That will just squeeze more venom into your skin. Step 5: Clean the welts When the stingers are out, clean the welts with soap and water like you would any other wound. Did You Know? The average person can safely tolerate 10 stings per pound of body weight.

So, you start with the tie the wide end about 12" below the left of the narrow end. Here I'm going in with a pretty skinny tie. So, the knot we are going to obtain is not as wide and fluffy as the one you would obtain if you did it with a wider tie, obviously. So, this is how you proceed. Starting with the tie upside down, you go the wide end underneath the narrow end, over, inside and out, over the narrow end. Just pull it in front with the wide end in front. Bring it underneath and just slide it inside the loop. There you go. You've got a Pratt Knot. Just adjust the knot. Tighten it and adjust your collar. So, this knot, the Pratt Knot is very suitable for any type of dress shirt, any type of collars. But, here I like to wear it with like a skinny tie and a widespread collar like this one. Seeing the result is fantastic. So, this is how you tie the Pratt Knot.

You're going to need a cucumber. Just cutting the half first, and off, and slice, one more time. Then you're going to get the seeds out, then julienne. That's your julienne, cucumber. This is avocado. Take the stem off then go 360 degrees. Twist and then you slice. And that's your avocado. Now we are ready to roll the California roll. Sea weed, rough side up, this is a half sea weed with your hand. And I'm going to do it inside out. Inside the roll is, rice is outside. Regular roll is sea weed is outside. So we're going to spread the rice on the sea weed, cover each corner, each edge with rice then we flip over so that the rice goes outside. Now I'm going to flip over. Crab cake, avocado, cucumber. Now pick up your bamboo with your thumb. Hold the other ingredients with your other forefingers and coming in. Make it tighter. Pick up, roll and shape. And then this is the masago. You can dress up masago on the outside. Masago is seasoned smelt roe. Again. So that's your California roll. So now I'm going to show you how to slice. Cut in half first, coming in, cut in half again, cut the half again, cut half again.'' That's how you make California roll.

Jungle Bob is here to show you that owning a pet reptile or amphibian is not as complicated as you might think. In this video, he shares seven tips about caring for a green iguana. Throughout the decades that reptiles have been popular pets, I think the number one seller probably has been the green iguana. Green iguanas hold the stigma from those old Japanese B movies, where they put an iguana across a model of Tokyo and pretended that he was Godzilla. Iguanas have fascinated Americans and have become the number one pet, for sure, over the last 20, 30 years. Personally, I don't think they make the best pets. And the reason why is because there is a lot of husbandry needed; these are tropical animals, they require the proper humidity and heat. They need ultraviolet lights, they need a specialized diet. But, really, it's because they sometimes have an attitude. When they get about 6 feet long, a male iguana suddenly isn't as calm as my little friend here. A male iguana will potentially turn on its owner, and establish its territory in the home. If it's in a fish tank, he's absolutely going to be upset. They really have to be outside in an 8 by 8 foot, 8 foot high room, sitting on a limb, looking down on their owner. And then they're perfectly fine pets. But if you want to keep them in a fish tank and approach them from the top, they sometimes get skittish. When they are skittish, the number one thing they do is whip their tail in your direction. The second thing they'll do is try to bite. And the third thing is rake you with their claws. Either one of those things is an event you don't want to experience, because a 6-foot iguana, this guy is about 2, maybe, a 6-foot iguana is a formidable creature that can inflict harm. We also have seen that male iguanas when they get old, when they become sexually mature, turn on their owners because they're territorial and want to establish their own area. And that is usually the time they end up coming back to the pet store, or back where they came from. If no one will take them back, people will let them go. And in northern climates, that's a death sentence for the animal. In southern climates, like Florida, they have procreated, and they have now established, and they are now truly an invasive species. So, I always say, if you want an iguana, please go get one. My choice for an iguana would be the rock iguanas. The rock iguanas are a big bodied creature that comes form the Caribbean Islands. And here I've got a good friend of mine, and the green iguana is scared of him, I would imagine so. This is Castro; he's a Cuban rock iguana. And you see Castro, who is now 15 years old, has a much different temperament than our green iguana friend. A 15 year old iguana would not be as tolerant to be touched in this nature. Castro is not trying to whip me with his tail, Castro is not trying to run away. He is a really sure of himself type of lizard who makes a wonderful pet or companion. We choose not to keep an animal this big in a cage, unless you build something custom for him. They freely can roam a home, and know where to do their business. They're straight herbivores; they love their veggies and fruits, and they really are an incredible companion and pet. We take him to the park and walk him like a dog all the time. So, if you're going to go for an iguana, think twice about the green types. There are some dessert species that are great, but the rock iguanas truly rock. Here's the Cuban iguana, Castro.

So I have Rene here again as my demo partner. First basic combinations I like to throw are always, you know, punch combinations. You've got jab, you've got cross, but again you always have to be ready off of that cross to sprawl especially when you come in for a take down. So again, I like to use, or set up with, the hands especially if I'm going to be setting up for kicks. So maybe I'd like to jab, cross and then an inside leg kick. Okay? Obviously you've got the jab, cross and then you have the outside leg kick. Those are basic combinations. If I throw a jab, cross and I fire that knee, I have to be ready to sprawl because you're going to be coming in for that take down. Alright? So again, basic combinations. Jab, cross, inside leg kick. Jab, cross, outside leg kick. Or, the jab, cross, follow up with the knee. But remember, be ready to sprawl. It's an MMA fight. He's going to come in for that take down. Alright? Rene: Now, the basic combinations, it depends what you want. If you just want to stay and stand up striking that's great, but some of you want to come in to shoot. So some good combination shoot is double-jab. For a single if you're southpaw, double-jab here, stepping in on your jab. Step in on your jab. And you hit the double. Okay? Another one could be a front hand technique. Switch your feet please. Alright? Could be jab, hook, shoot. So you want to punch off your front hand to cover the distance for your shots.

Owning a pet reptile or amphibian is not as difficult as you might think. However, Jungle Bob says a chameleon is one of the exceptions. In this video, he explains why. Chameleons are sought-after pets and I really have to interview people long and hard to make sure they know what they're getting into. Because of all the animals in the pet world, chameleons are certainly the hardest to stay alive. By nature, they're extremely skittish. You see this one doesn't want to be out in the limelight here he doesn't like the bright lights that are on him. He wants to be in a tree and he wants to hide. But that's not possible today, so he'll be okay for a few minutes. As a keeper, he needs a couple of things to keep him alive. First, they really don't do well in a glass enclosure. Chameleons like airflow so a screen is much better for them. A screened enclosure where the air can flow through is great. They can also grab on to the screen with their nails and climb all around, it which they can't do with glass. Worse than that, though, in order to keep them happy is they will need a water source to drink from and that is not a bowl. Chameleons like this do not drink from standing water. They drink drips. When it rains they drink as much water as they can. But the only other water they get is basically dew in the morning that will form on the leaves and will start to drip off of it. And we will often see them licking the leaves inside their enclosures to get their moisture. If we forgot to mist them and forget to put that moisture on, put a bowl of water and go away for three days, they will die of thirst. They do not know enough to go down to a standing body of water and take a drink. Some species yes, Veiled chameleons, no. So, you really have to be a diligent keeper and keep your animal watered as best as possible. There are a number of devices on the market to do that automatically. But there's nothing like an old plant Mister that you use with your hand to make sure your lizard is drinking every day. As they get to know you they will take it right out of the end of the bottle in order to get their much needed water source. Chameleons are really an advanced lizard keepers pet. You cannot be a beginner and keep a chameleon happy. They have very fragile legs and arms. They need to be totally camouflaged and have places to hide inside or they become very short-lived. Even in the best of conditions chameleons are not long-lived creatures. Some only a couple of years. Some, five, six, seven years is about as much as you're going to get as chameleon pet. So, a wonderful, "Wow, what is that?" type of animal, but extremely fragile and you have to think twice whether or not you want to buy a chameleon. Of all the chameleon species veiled chameleons are absolutely the most hearty. The males actually this beautiful crest on top of their hand. And they can actually be taught to eat out of your hand by holding the food item here. They'll shoot it out of your hand. He's a little bit too nervous to do it today, but he'll eat it right out of your hand and that's a wonderful thing to observe in captivity. So there's the veiled chameleon, one of the best chameleons on the market.

Speaker 2: Well, this is a confusing question because so many pet stores sell shampoo for animals. People will buy the shampoo because it looks so cute or if there's a picture of a rabbit on the front of the bottle so that must mean that rabbits need to be bathed. In fact, rabbits don't need to be bathed they are prodigious self groomers and they keep themselves immaculately clean. But every once in a while for a variety of a reasons a rabbit will get a really poopy butt and maybe because he's sick because he's having a digestive problem. It maybe because he's arthritic and he can't lean over to clean himself very well. Speaker 1: Overweight? Speaker 2: He's overweight. Yea, that's another reason why they can't lean over as well as before. And they'll get an accumulation on their butt and it's kind of a poopy butt that dries on it's butt and then you have give him what's called a butt bath. And what I use for a butt bath. Speaker 1: Because you don't want to pick it off with your fingers because you can pull the skin away Speaker 2: Skin off with him. Exactly. It's very painful for the rabbit. So what you want to do is get a small litter box like this, put a towel in the bottom of it, put a couple of inches of water in it, tepid water, warm water, not hot just warm, and then you're going to put your bunny in the water and we're going to do this as a dry bath, He doesn't need a butt bath so we're just going to do this as if he did. He knows he doesn't need a bath so he's stepping out so he's going to stay in this and when he's in you can pick him up like this. Just hold is front quarters out to keep him dry and you can use your hand to swish water all around his butt. Most rabbits are very comfortable doing this. You can keep swishing water around his butt and you'll be loosening up the dry poop. Speaker 1: So they're not sitting in water? Speaker 2: Just the butt. That's right. Just enough to cover the butt. Towel is to give him traction and enough water to cover the butt and the bottom feet. And that's it. Speaker 1: No soap? Speaker 2: You don't need soap. Some people use shampoo or pet shampoo. You don't need that. Just warm water is fine. And you use your finger nails and pick the stuff off, once its moist you'll be able to get it off easily. And then you take the bunny out onto a towel which we'll do here and most people like to use a hair dryer. It's a tedious process. Speaker 1: We did that one time. Speaker 2: With Dusty? Speaker 1: No, with the crazy lady. Speaker 2: Oh that's right I remember that house call that we did. We did a house call. Speaker 1: That's another video. Speaker 2:Yea. That's a whole other video. Speaker 1: Annette. Annette. Speaker 2: You're going to put the rabbit with his butt on the towel like this and you dry him as best you can. I like to also have a paper towel here because it's even more absorbent. And you just keep pressing the paper towel against its butt. And that will get him very very dry as dry as you can get without a hair dryer and then use a hair dryer set on low the lowest heat not on cold but the lowest heat and blow dry him until his butt is dry. You don't want any skin chaffing because it's moist. So that's how you give your bunny a butt bath. It's pretty easy and the bunny really appreciates it. You can tell that they like being clean. Usually as soon as their out of the bath they'll do their face and their ears and everything. Speaker 1: Oh. Okay. Speaker 2: So yea, it's not a hard thing to do. It's getting them dry is the trick. So get them as dry as you can and you'll protect their skin that way. Butt baths are fun!

I'm Sifu Romane and this is Shaolin fighting tips. The first tip that I can give you on fighting is whoever controls the distance controls the fight. This is really important to understand. Basic, basic concept. If he's a strong puncher, I can use my foot to keep him away from me. If he's a strong kicker, I obviously need to come inside where I can use my hand skills. If he's a strong puncher, the other thing I can do is come inside the grappling. That will also eliminate his punches, as well. Another fight tip that we use for Kung Fu in particular is using our contact reflexes. This is important because this range is what we call immobilization range, and it's one of the things that makes Kung Fu unique. So as soon as we make contact, we know exactly where he is. You don't even necessarily see him to know what to do. The other thing is, if I come inside here, I can automatically pin his arms against his body, and that's what we mean by using your contact reflexes. I'm Sifu Romane, and these are some Shaolin fighting tips.

Here’s how to get out. Step 1: Calm down Stem panic by reminding yourself that your car will usually float for a minute or two before it begins to sink. Use this time to unfasten your seat belt, open the driver-side window or a sunroof, and unlock the doors. Tip As long as you keep your keys in the ignition, the electrical system likely will work until the car is submerged enough for the system to short out. Step 2: Break the window If you were unable to open your side window, break it with your elbow, heels, or -- better still -- anything pointy you have on hand, like a pen or screwdriver. Aim for the center of the window. Don’t bother with the windshield; it's made to be unbreakable. Tip Hardware stores sell tools specifically designed to break car windows in an emergency. Step 3: Undress If the car is sinking slowly, take off your shoes. If you’re wearing jeans and you have time, remove those as well. Both weigh you down, making swimming to the surface more difficult. Step 4: Get out Climb out the window before the car becomes submerged, and swim to the surface. Tip Memorize the acronym POGO: Pop seat belt, Open the window, and Get Out. Step 5: Wait until car fills If you were unable to get out through the window, don’t panic! Let the car fill with water, knowing that once it does, the water pressure inside and out will be equalized, allowing you to open the door and escape. Tip Hang on to the door handle as the car fills with water so you don’t float and become disoriented if the car flips. Step 6: Open the door When the water reaches your chin, take a deep breath and hold it. Then open the door and swim out headfirst. If you’re not sure which way is up, look for bubbles and swim in the direction in which they’re rising. Did You Know? A few, this one is called a Jersey Wally, this one is a Rex the grey one, this one is a Flemish Giant, this one is a New Zealand White and we have here a little buddy called a Lion Head and next to him is a Netherlands Dwarf. We actually DE-emphasize breeds when people are adopting bunnies we always tell them no matter how beautiful the rabbit, no matter how much you love the breed, the thing to pay attention to really is the personality. And I told Amy once that is kind of like when you are dating a guy that is just really gorgeous and you find out that the personality isn't there, you don't care about the looks after a while it is very, very interesting. I had somebody come into my apartment one time to adopt only a Lap rabbit. The Lap rabbits are the ones that have the down ears. We don't have a Lap rabbit here but they have the ears that go down like a Cocker Spaniels and this lady came in and she said she only wanted consider a Lap and I had a couple of Laps and she loved one of them and started righting the adoption papers to take him home. But every time she went by this other rabbits cage the rabbit would stick his head out and look at her and try to make eye contact with her and after a couple of minutes she said you know Mary I think this rabbits trying to tell me something . So I said I think he is too , why don't you put down the Lap ear rabbit and go over and talk to that rabbit. And long story short she did and ended up adopting that second rabbit and the rabbit was definitely reaching out to her. It wasn't a breed she was interested in but the personality was so out going and so affectionate and she just loved him to pieces. So, we always tell people look at the different breeds for sure, we get all breeds into shelters all the time but go by the personality. It is much more Speaker 2: But normally you wouldn't put a bunch of rabbits together like this because they always don't get along, right? Speaker 1: Thanks for saying that, this is a challenge to have all these rabbits together on the same table . We have male, male, next to each other female, female next to each other that's not an easy thing to do in the rabbit world. Were really careful about putting rabbits together and we're just doing this to give an idea of different breeds. We want to make sure that we stay safe here. Speaker 2: Wow. Speaker 1: We are keeping the rabbits from each other for that reason. Speaker 2: Look at all the different coats. Speaker 1: Look at all the hair flying in the air from all these different coats. Speaker 2: Rabbit breeds.

Jungle Bob is here to show you that owning a pet reptile or amphibian is not as complicated as you might think. In this video, he shares four tips about caring for a pixie frog. A lot of people come in to buy pets, they want that wow factor pet, and they're looking for a frog that's easy to keep while often pointing to a Pixie or a South African bullfrog. I do that because, I do it with a smirk on my face, because I'm going to see them a lot in the future, because these little guys here do one thing well, and that's eat. There's a misnomer in the amphibian world, and that is frogs eat nothing but flies. We often see pictures in kid's books and frogs smiling happily, shooting flies out of the air with their elongated tongues This is not true. Frogs are predators, frogs have teeth in their mouth, and they'll just about anything. And a little, baby Pixie frog like this, in about a year or two, will turn into a monster like this. Everybody, meet Jabba, we call him Jabba, the African Bullfrog. The African bullfrog, or Pixie frog, is a true predator, that will eat just about anything that gets in front of him. We've seen him eat fish, we've seen him pick birds that fell out of their nest. Once in a while, he'll eat a snake, a lizard, anything that he can get his formidable mouth on, he will grab. He does not shoot his tongue, that's a mistake. People think frogs shoot their tongues way up into the air to catch flies that go by. You think Jabba is living on flies here? No, flies are really hard to catch for an animal his size, and we'd have to feed him a thousand of them a day to maintain that body weight. So, instead, he sits there, burns no calories, and waits for food to be deposited. So, therefore, if he's in a terrarium, wow, what a great animal, because no matter what you drop in front of him, he's going to make a meal out of it. It's extremely animated and a lot of fun to watch, and the variety of foods, anything you could find, even something you find outside in the garden, you drop in front of Jabba and down the chute it goes. So, the African bullfrog is a wonder of the pet world these days. You need a pretty good size tank for a guy this big, they will get 2/12 to 3 pounds in size. The African bullfrog.

We're going to teach you a couple of them. The first one we're going to talk about is the bachata heel break. So we're going to put out our heels, on the fours and the eights. Five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. The idea behind the heel is to make sure that your heel is nice and sharp on that break, just as if you were doing a tap. Daniela: And ladies, make sure when you do your heel tap forward, you have your legs closed. We don't want to do one, two, three, heel, okay? It's right in front of you. Edwin: Now for the next break, this one is a tap in the back. We're going to use the toe to either tap across or behind. We're going to show you different ways, so make sure you that you explore however you feel more comfortable. Five, six, seven and one, two, three, tap, five, six, seven, tap. One, two, three, tap, five, six, seven, tap. One, two, three, tap. Five, six, seven, tap. That's going to be the tap behind. Remember you can put it right behind you or you can send it across, depending on how you feel. Make sure you do it with confidence and smooth. The next break is going to be the scoop. The scoop is going to be picking up your foot. Gentlemen, what we're going to do is just lift it up, like this. Daniela: And ladies, we're going to scoop up, so as soon as your toe hits the floor that's when you bring it up. Make sure you don't kick it out. Edwin: Let's try it. Five, six, seven, eight and one, two, three, up, five, six, seven, up. One, two, three, up. Five, six, seven, up and one, two, three, up. Five, six, seven, up. Now for those of you who are interested in getting better as performers, make sure that you always point your feet down. If you keep your feet like this, of course it's an option, but make sure that if you want to develop good habits, always point your feet down. Now we're going to do the last one, which is the shuffle behind. This one is a little bit more complicated, so I want you to pay attention slowly. Five, six, seven, eight and one, two, three shuffle, five, six, seven, shuffle one, two, three, shuffle five, six, seven and shuffle. So what's happening here is we're going to take three steps one, two and three. On the fourth step we're going to quickly alternate our feet, right/left, and then continue to the right for five, six, seven. And do the same thing on the other side, left/right. Let's try it a little bit faster. Five, six, seven, eight and one, two, three shuffle. Five, six, seven, one, two, three shuffle, five, six, seven shuffle one. Now let's demonstrate all these breaks with music, so here we have the heel, then we have the tap behind and remember, you can cross it behind or send it straight back, depending on your choice. The next one is the scoop and gentlemen, of course you can scoop as well, gentlemen. But for us it's more natural to just bring the knee up. And the last one is the shuffle behind. Shuffle, one and those are your bachata breaks.

And, believe it or not, many parrots don't actually know how to fly because they've been clipped at some point in their lives. Sometimes when you get a parrot as a baby, it has very little flying experience. But, at that point, even in the wild, parrots have to learn to fly; it's not instinctive to them. So, parrots that have never had the chance to fly before, when their feathers regrow and they're no longer clipped, they actually need to learn how to fly around. So, I have developed this two-perch training technique with two of the Parrot Wizard training perches and you can use that to teach your reluctant parrot how to fly. So, we'll start by targeting the bird form perch to perch. Good. Perch wood target. Now, this is an easy step in terms. I'm going to just spread that distance a little bit and make him work a little harder at stepping across the gap. That's good. Target. Good boy. Target. Now, spread the gap just a little bit further. The goal is to make the gap just big enough that he has to take a big step or a hop to get across. That's good. As your parrot learns how to start hopping the gap, he might fall and get a little bit unbalanced in the process. It's going to make him throw his wings out and he's going to have to actually learn how to fly a little bit across the short distance. So, I'm going to bring that back just a bit and show you how the big, big step works. Okay. Target. So, you go from a big step to a little flight. Good. Then, you just keep practicing the process. Don't forget that your parrot is actually learning to fly in this process. Also, your parrot is working it's flight muscles. Your parrot's muscles may be atrophied if it hasn't flown a lot in the past. So, by doing these exercises your actually not only teaching it how to fly; you're also exercising it to fly. Target. Good boy. Very good. Truman, target. Good boy. Target. Good job. Very good, Truman. Now, the next step is teaching your parrot to fly to you, not just between stands. So, the beginning stands are good because they're sturdy and reliable and your parrot can stay on them. But then you want to teach the bird to fly to you, that point you can get rid of the second stand and teach it to fly to your hand. At first, I'm going to use my other hand in front of the stand to trick it to keep doing what it was doing before, which is flying from stand to stand. Instead, now I'm having it fly to my hand in the process. Truman, target. He's doing it to my hand as he was doing it to the stand. We're going to try that again. Target. That's good. Very good, Truman. Good job. For the first few times, to teach the bird to go to your hand, you just have him fly from to stands to the palm of your hand and he learns to come to your hand. Once he's learned that, we can get rid of that second stand altogether and teach him to fly to your hand as the target. Target. Good boy. And now you can teach your bird how to fly back. Finally, you can take these skills to the very maximum and teach your bird to fly by command. I like to call a parrot's name since I have more than just one, so that each bird knows their call by name. So, only the bird that I call flies to me when I call their name. Truman. Good boy, Truman. Very good. Come get a perch. Good job. By teaching the command for it to fly to me, which is their name, then I save a perch for them to fly back. Truman. Good boy. That's how you teach a parrot to fly.

Watch more Hurricanes & Storms videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/471526-How-to-Survive-a-Hurricane Don't wait until a storm is heading your way! Survive a hurricane with these safety precautions. Step 1: Plan ahead Plan ahead. Know the location of local shelters and how you'll evacuate if you don't have a car. If you have family members with special medical needs, ask local officials if there's a registry so they get help in the event of power outages. Pick a place for family members to meet in case you become separated, and designate an out-of-town friend as the person everyone calls to report that they're safe. Get flood insurance if you don't already have it. Tip Make sure you know how to shut off electricity, gas, and water in case you're instructed to do so. Step 2: Be prepared Have the following supplies on hand at the start of hurricane season: a 3-day supply of water that provides 1 gallon per person per day; a 3-day supply of non-perishable food that doesn't require cooking; a flashlight and extra batteries; a battery-powered radio that can receive broadcasts from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration; a first-aid kit; and a 7-day supply of medications. Tip The Atlantic and Central Pacific hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30; the Eastern Pacific is from May 15 through November. Step 3: Get ready If a hurricane warning is issued -- meaning one is expected in the next 36 hours -- bring in anything that can be tossed around by the wind; close and board up all windows and doors with 5/8" marine plywood, unless you have hurricane shutters; clear rain gutters and downspouts; trim trees and shrubs; put your refrigerator and freezer on the coldest setting; and fill your car's gas tank in case you're ordered to evacuate. Step 4: Go to a safe place If you live on the first or 2nd floor of a high rise, make plans to take refuge with neighbors between floors 3 and 10 when the storm begins. Residents who live above the 10th floor should evacuate, as should mobile home dwellers and anyone living on a floodplain, near a river, or on an inland waterway. Step 5: Do last-minute preparations Shortly before the storm is expected to start, fill your bathtub with water so you have an extra supply on hand. Unplug small appliances and sensitive electronics, and turn off propane tanks. Step 6: Ride out the storm When the storm starts, stay away from windows and glass doors and avoid using the phone. Go to your home's lowest level and stay in an interior room, closet, or hallway. Have a mattress or pillow to protect your head. Monitor weather conditions on your radio and don't leave your safe place until local officials say it's okay to do so. Step 7: Avoid post-storm dangers If you lose electricity, keep circuit breakers turned off until power is restored, then check for frayed wires. If you see any, call the power company. Leave the house immediately if you smell gas. If you're returning home, don't enter your house if floodwaters remain around the building; you see loose power lines or structural damage; or you smell a gas leak. If you have any safety concerns at all, stay elsewhere until your home is checked by a building inspector or structural engineer. Did You Know? 2/3 of the hurricanes that hit land in the United States between 1981 and 2011 struck the Gulf Coast. The other third hit the Atlantic Coast.

Victor: And I'm Victor Sho. LaShonna: And today we are going to learn how to Dougie. So we're going to teach you how to Dougie. This is a very popular dance that everyone's doing nowadays. And it's simple but it's just getting into the groove of it. I's pretty much a two step, with an up and down motion adding your arms. So let's just start with a two step. And the we're going to add on another layer, and then another layer, until you're doing the Dougie. You ready? So we're going to start stepping. Out together. Out together. Out together. Out together. If you're doing that you're good. From here we're going to add an up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down, if you're doing that you're really doing good. Now what we're going to do here is add a head motion that goes with it. So every time you go to the side you go up and over with it. Think of pointing your head, in that direction. Up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down. Now we're going to add a different rhythm, single, single, double. And single, single, double, with the feet, we go single, single, double, and single, single, double. That's an up, down, up, down, up, down, double time. Up, down, up, down, up, down, double time. If you have this rhythm that's the basics of the Dougie. Now we're going to add some arms to it. So when you're doing the arms for the Dougie, when you step out the opposite arm is going to roll in. Up, down, up, down, up, down. Up, down, up, down, up, down. Make sure that your body's going up and down. Now from here let's add our single, single, double. Here we go, we have single, single, double. And single, single, double. And single, single, double. And single, single, double. And you can Dougie with a partner, and make it even more fun. Here we go. Single, single, double. And single, single, double. Single, single, double. And single, single, double... And that's the Dougie.

Well, they're wrong. If you know what motivates your cat, you can train it. Now, training with Fria today is going to be a little difficult because she's pretty snooty, but I'm just going to see if she has a reaction to her favorite treat bag. That can be a great place to start for coming when called. Many cats know the sound of their treat bag and get excited right off the bat when they hear it. So, let's just see if she wakes up. Oh, suddenly we're interested. Well, it's not an ideal time to practice coming when called. It is a good time to reinforce the association that hearing the treat bag means good things. Now, many cat owners already know about the treat bag effect, but what they don't know is that it's really easy to capitalize on it to teach your cat to come when called. The way to do that is to pair your cat's name with a treat. The great news is since your cat knows the sound of a treat bag or a treat canister, you can build on an already strong association. So, in this case, you might say your cat's name and then give them a treat. So, I'll go like this. Fria and then I crinkle the bag which means a treat is coming and then I give her one. Now first, when you're starting this you want to start right by your cat because they don't really know what you're trying to do. Start at a place where cat and you are most likely to be successful. So, rinse and repeat. Fria, crinkle, crinkle and then give a treat. Now, when you're ready to start working on coming when called you can begin working from a distance. I'm not going to do this with Fria today because she might walk right off the table if she happened to get up, but what you would do is the same type of behavior. Say the cat's name, crinkle the bag and as soon as they come over give a treat. Eventually, the name that you give your cat for this exercise will become as powerful as the treat bag and you'll see that when you give the sound of your cat's name that your cat comes running for that treat. Over time you can stop using food and use scratches or other positive attention that your cat enjoys as a reinforcer. Just remember that it's not normal for cats to come when called in the wild, so it's definitely a behavior that's worth paying for. That's how you teach your cat to come when called.

Watch more Newborn & Baby Development videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/506124-16-Facts-about-Months-1-through-3-Baby-Development When parents come for their one month visit they're most interested in feeding issues. Feeding issues, peeing issues, and pooping issues are all the popular one month visit issues. So, a one month should be feeding every three to four hours during the day. In the evening a one month old might feed every three hours, but they might sleep three to five hours. If they do then you're really lucky. You don't have to wake a one month old baby up every three hours to feed any more unless your doctor tells you that your baby is not gaining enough weight and needs to be woken up every two to three hours let's say. Breast-fed babies wake more often, because they just don't get as much volume when they breast feed. Often, a baby's put on the breast, and when they hear the mom's heartbeat and they feel the mom's warmth they just fall right back to sleep. They don't finish that full feed like a bottle-fed baby might get three or four ounces before bed. Babies often cluster feed, and that's normal. So, a baby might feed every hour during the day, especially a breast-fed baby, and in the evening that baby might sleep longer. That's fine. Babies should have anywhere between three to five wet diapers a day, and poop can range. Some breast-fed babies poop with every feed, whereas some babies don't poop for five days. That's totally normal. I would say that the majority of the phone calls I get are parents worrying about a baby being constipated. There's a wide range of normal, and that's OK. At one month the baby should be regarding your face, looking at you while they're feeding. What the baby is seeing is the contrast of you against the wall behind. So, sometimes parents feel that the baby is looking past them because their vision is about 20/400. It's very out of focus. What they're looking at is a contrast of you against the wall behind them, and that's OK. Between one month and three months the baby is going to start to recognize you, regard your face, know your voice. A baby should be responding to sound of course. They still have the startle reflex, so if a loud car drives by or somebody honks a horn they'll startle. That's the Moro reflex. That's normal. Babies should be sleeping on their back. I recommend that parents rotate the baby's head from side to side. I almost make the analogy of a rotisserie chicken. You want it cooked all the way around. So with the baby's head, because we are preventing SIDS by having a baby lie on their back, we are creating a flat back of their head. That's called postural plagiocephaly. To prevent postural plagiocephaly I recommend that the parents rotate the baby's head from side to side when they put them to sleep. Then during the day time when the baby's awake you can give the baby tummy time. Parents ask how much tummy time does a baby need. There's no set menu for tummy time. Five minutes for a baby is eternity. You often put your baby on their tummy and they're supposed to lift their head up but they smush their head back down. That's fine, but you want to keep on practicing with the baby because they're sleeping on their back for so long some of their milestones are delayed, and we want them to learn to push up when they're awake. So, whenever the baby's awake you can put the baby on a firm surface like the mattress in a crib or a play mat on the floor and let the baby learn to push up and hold their head up. Babies don't need water at this age. Water starts at four months. On warm days you just have to keep your baby cool and well hydrated with formula or with breast milk. As far as smiling, smiling develops between six weeks to two and a half months. A baby will start smiling when they're happy or when they're soothed. A baby should also, between one and three months, be calmed by your voice when you come in the room and be consoled. If a baby has excessive crying where they cannot be consoled whatsoever then you should contact your physician.

And handling the ball with speed is good because it makes it more difficult for the defender to steal the ball from you. So right now we'll walk through a couple of quick drills that we use on a regular basis that help us to handle the ball faster. First ting we want to do is work on a particular drill and then you want to try to go for speed in it. Right now we have one of our coaches, Jerry, who's gonna time us on these particular drills. Right now Sammy will go for 15 seconds and what'll we'll do right now is he's gonna do his first set for 15 seconds and then we'll have him do a second set to see if he can increase his speed as far ball handling. So right now, Sammy will get nice and low. He's gonna cross over and go behind his back. Every time the ball gets to his right hand, he's gonna count the rep. So I'll count for him right now. Jerry when you tell me to go, we'll go. Jerry: Ready, go! Jason: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Alright. So Sammy did eight in 15 seconds. So now he has a goal where every time he works out he has a point of emphasis in the base as far as trying to exceed his time. Now I'll try to do something a little bit more advanced with the advanced ball handlers. And remember, everything that we do I'm gonna try to do with my eyes closed and head up. Jerry'll give me 30 seconds on this. Jerry: Ready, go! Jason: One, two, three, four, five, I lose it, I come right back. Eyes closed, chin up. Six. Jerry: Stop. Jason: Alright? So I got to about six and a half. So right now we'll have Sammy finish up to see if he can do it any faster than he did his first set. So again Sammy will have his eyes closed, chin up. He'll get low. Eight is his number to beat. 15 seconds. Jerry: Ready, go! Jason: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. Jerry: Stop. Jason: Alright. So you see? Now, Sammy worked on his ball handling. He was able to get ten. Those are the types of drills that you can do on a regular basis in order to be come a faster ball handler.

But you can create your own "happy" meals that are tasty, nutritious, and inexpensive. Step 1: Start with hot cereal Start the day with a hot cereal; they’re much cheaper than cold cereals. Oatmeal is a nutritional winner and very inexpensive if you buy a container of plain, old-fashioned oatmeal. Step 2: Stretch your milk Stretch your milk dollars by diluting a can of evaporated milk or some powdered milk with water to create whole milk. Step 3: Stock up on frozen veggies Stock up on frozen vegetables when they go on sale. Unless your produce was just picked, it’s just as healthy — or even more so — to eat the frozen stuff, which locks in the nutrients. Tip Canned vegetables are another cheap alternative to fresh, but rinse them before eating because many are loaded with salt. Step 4: Eat fruits in season Limit your fruit purchases to whatever is in season, the exception being bananas and apples. The former are relatively inexpensive year-round, and the latter are low in calories, high in fiber, and may reduce your risk of heart disease and cancer. Step 5: Snack happy Enjoy healthy snacks without spending a fortune by air popping corn kernels and buying nutritious nuts like almonds, walnuts, pecans, and peanuts. Buy in bulk. Step 6: Limit meat consumption Only eat meat two or three times a week, and make cheap meats as tender and tasty as pricier cuts by marinating them overnight or slow-cooking them in a Crock-Pot. Step 7: Eat alternative proteins Make the most of alternative sources of protein, like peanut butter, eggs, chunk light tuna (which is not only the cheapest kind of tuna, but also contains the least mercury), and beans. Tip Buy bagged beans in bulk -- the kind you soak overnight. They’re cheaper and healthier than canned beans, which are high in sodium. Step 8: Eat brown rice Eat brown rice. It’s a bit pricier than white, but much better for you and still a nutritional bargain. Step 9: Indulge in dessert Indulge in desserts by making them from scratch using nutritious ingredients that you have on hand. Bake your own oatmeal and peanut butter cookies; mash and freeze overripe bananas for "ice cream"; bake bruised apples with a little honey. Did You Know? As of 2007, 8.5% of the American household budget went to food eaten at home, down from 19% in 1960.

Speaker 2: Friends. A lot of people ask if it's a good idea to get a friend for their pet rabbit. We love when people get friends for their pet rabbits because rabbits are social animals who live in social groups in nature and they really enjoy the companionship of their own species. It's not so easy however to introduce rabbits and a lot of people have disastrous results and they call us after the fact instead of asking for advice beforehand and what happens is, they go to the pet store and they say, you know, "I have a female rabbit and I want to get a friend for the rabbit" and the pet store will say "Well, put the rabbit with another female, that way you won't have litters or whatever" and they sell the person what's supposed to be a female, it ends up being a male, the people have a litter a month later, so that's one possible ending. Another possible ending is they give them another female and the rabbits just don't get along and the person has no idea how to change this situation. So what we tell people when they want to introduce their rabbit to a friend is first of all, both rabbits need to be spayed and neutered so that they cannot reproduce and so that the hormones that drive them to reproduce will not be affecting their behavior when they're together. And what we do when we're introducing rabbits is house them side by side for a couple of weeks. In side by side pens with just enough air in between that they can't touch each other through the pens. And then we slowly introduce them and we do it by putting them in a constricted area and we wear shoes on our hands, tennis shoes on our hands. And we keep the rabbits from any kind of aggressive behavior and the minute they show any sign of aggression we plunge our hands down with the shoes on them to separate the rabbits. That way we don't get bitten, the rabbits don't get hurt, it's very easy. This is a bonded pair here now. These rabbits have been living together for a couple of years. This is a little Lion Head and this is a little Netherlands Dwarf. They're good buddies, bonded rabbits will huddle together, they'll eat together, they often do something called mirroring behavior where one rabbit will sit up and shake his hands and start to groom himself and the other rabbit will then sit up and shake his little paws and start to groom himself. Speaker 1: Copy cats. Speaker 2: Copy cats, copy rabbits, copy buns. And you'll see that in a bonded pair. It's really fun to have a bonded pair because you see behaviors that you don't see with single rabbits. One thing that really interests me is that even in the heat of the summer, these rabbits will lie together body to body, tight as can be when it's 90 degrees outside, they'll push their little bodies against one another in that heat and it doesn't bother them at all. They would much rather have the company of a bunny... Speaker 1: Oh, really? Speaker 2: ...than the coolness of separation. Yeah, it's really very touching to watch, actually. Speaker 1: You do have to consider that it's double the cost, right? I mean, it's... Speaker 2: It is double the cost. It's not double the space. Speaker 1: No, but the veterinary, I mean if you take them to the vet. Speaker 2: That's right. That's right. Speaker 1: The carriers, it's just more, but... Speaker 2: Well, not more carriers. If you take them to the vet you should be able to take them in one carrier. Speaker 1: Okay. Speaker 2: But the vet bills, the vet bills for sure, that's a big consideration. Speaker 1: Yeah, right. Speaker 2: If one gets sick, they're in contact with the other one, the other one is likely to get sick too, you may end up with two vet bills. So you do have to pay attention. Speaker 1: Double trouble, that's what I way. Double trouble. Speaker 2: On the other hand, when they have companionship of their own species, they're more relaxed an

Check out these simple steps to help you survive an encounter with the undead. Step 1: Know your enemy Make sure you're facing an attack from actual zombies. Look for a stiff gait caused by rigor mortis, open wounds from decomposing flesh, and a hunger for human flesh. Step 2: Cover up Cover up to prevent potential zombie bites from turning you into one of them. Wear a mask with holes only for the eyes and mouth, long sleeves, gloves, close-toe shoes, and long pants tucked into your socks. You may look like a fashion victim, but you won't be a zombie victim. Step 3: Amass weapons Find a weapon to use in case you encounter a zombie. Grab a blunt object capable of bashing in undead heads or something to pierce the zombies' skulls -- even reanimated corpses can't survive severe brain injuries. Tip Don't try to reason with zombies -- their brain functions are limited to walking, moaning, and feasting on the living. Step 4: Head indoors Find a secure place to hide. Make sure it's located as far as possible from any graveyards and stocked with canned goods, bottled water, and projectile-firing weapons. Barricade the doors and windows to ensure your survival. Step 5: Fight back Hide out long enough to overcome your fear; then, attack back! Use human-scented objects to lure the zombies to low-lying areas; once they're contained, blast their brains from afar. Continue trapping and killing until all the zombies are dead, and it's eerily quiet enough for you to hear your still-beating heart. Did You Know? A traditional zombie cocktail is made with sugar, fruit juice, and 4 kinds of rum.

Really focus on it. I'm not going to do anything to you surprising. I'm not gonna try to. Ann: Wow. Ben: Didn't mean to shock you there. Ann: Amazing. Ben: This is actually, this is probably one of the most impressive effects you can do with not all that much complicated slight. First thing you have to do is you actually have get the card to the bottom of the deck. If you'll remember when Ann drew a card, I actually just had her place it right back on top. Show it to the camera real quick, four of spades. Now, using the overhand shuffle control, I'm actually able to guarantee that the four of spades will end up right back on the bottom of the deck. Once it's on the bottom of the deck, you're pretty much good to go. You ask them to hold their fingers. You ask them basically to take the deck from you the same way that you're holding it. That's a good way to get them to take it in the same position without kind of, you know, readjusting their fingers. So do me a favor, just take it just like I'm holding it. Perfect. Now, believe it or not, just a confident smack onto the deck will pretty much knock all the cards out of her hand except for the last one. Ann, I didn't tell you what was going to happen. You did not know that that was going to happen. That card just happened to be in your hand after the slap. That card and that card alone. Correct? By being timid with the smack, what's going to happen is you're actually not going to hit all the cards out. They're only going to slide about half of them down. And then she's going to be left with a third of the deck, or a half of the deck, or a fourth of the deck, whatever, and you're going to have to keep smacking. So basically what's happening with the smack here is, as I'm smacking down on the deck, you really want to make sure you're getting a really good downward motion because that's going to cause all the cards to slide, literally, off of the bottom one. And Ann, she's already told us she did not know to prepare for this. She was not trying to hold on to that card. She didn't even know I was going to slap them. But the slap really does work. And it's a great effect. It's very impressive to the spectator when they're left with their card staring them in the face.

You can reheat it in its own container, using the sun's power. Step 1: Draw a square Using the ruler and black marker, draw a square on your pizza-box lid, leaving a 1-inch border from the edge of the box to each side of the square. Step 2: Form the flap With the box cutter or utility knife, cut through three sides of the square you just drew, leaving the line at the rear of the box attached. Fold the flap back so that it stands up when the pizza-box lid is closed. Step 3: Cover the flap with foil Cover the underside of the flap with heavy-duty aluminum foil, which will reflect sunlight into the oven. Glue the foil to the flap, smooth out wrinkles, and cut off any excess. Step 4: Tape plastic sheet With the scissors, cut two square pieces of clear plastic wrap, each 1 square inch larger than the flap opening. Open the pizza box, and tape one piece of plastic to the underside of the hole so that the plastic covers it. Step 5: Tape second plastic sheet Close the lid, and tape the second plastic sheet over the top of the hole, creating a window that helps keep the sun’s heat in the box. Pull both sheets taut as you tape them. Tip Maintaining an airtight box is crucial in keeping the oven hot. Step 6: Layer the bottom with foil Glue or tape a layer of aluminum foil to the inside bottom of your pizza box for insulation. Step 7: Cover with black paper Cover the foil layer in the box with sheets of black construction paper and glue them into place. The black base will absorb light and generate more heat inside your oven. Step 8: Find best angle Close the lid, and you’re ready to start cooking! On a bright day, place your solar oven outside in direct sunlight. Adjust the foil flap to find the best ray-reflecting angle, and use the ruler, a stick, or a hard-plastic straw to keep the flap propped in place. Tip If you want to test the reflective angles of your oven before you head outside, shine a laser pointer onto the foil flap to simulate rays of sunlight. Step 9: Preheat Preheat your oven by leaving it in direct sunlight for 30 minutes. The box’s temperature will reach about 200 degrees, so while you won’t be able to cook a roast, you can reheat cooked food, melt cheese or chocolate, or—if you have all day—prepare a veggie stew. Step 10: Cook Whatever you decide to cook, place it—on its own, or in a heat-safe container—in the center of the oven, so that it is directly under the plastic-wrap window. Close the lid, leaving the flap propped open, and check on your food every 15 to 30 minutes. Did You Know? Earth receives more energy from the sun in one hour than our entire planet uses in a year.

Watch more How to Play Paintball videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/497220-5-Best-Paintball-Tips-Paintball My name is Mike Peverill. I'm here at Pev's Paintball Park in Aldie, Virginia. I've been playing paintball nearly 30 years. I've played professional paintball with numerous pro teams all over the world. This facility here was built from the ground up for paintball, kind of like a paintball Disney Land. Our website is www.pevs.com. Hopefully you can come out and visit us sometime. A very popular question I get asked all the time is, ""Hey, I'm gonna go out and play paintball for the first time. You know, you've been playing for a long time. Give me your best tip."" And what I tell people, in all the years I've learned in playing paintball, professionally and on the circuit, and just for fun, is basically the first thing is always wear dark clothes. 'Cause when you're out there on a paintball field for fun, remember, the flashy orange colors, yellow colors, bright colors, even white sticks out, and makes yourself a target. I tell people to blend in. If you don't have camouflage clothing to wear, wear dark clothing. Wear long sleeves and long pants. And the other thing is, wear tennis shoes versus wearing boots. I see so many people come out wearing combat boots, and their feet start hurting them. Remember, think of paintball as a sport activity, not so much as real battle. So go plan to know that you're gonna be on your feet the whole time. And wear a good pair of comfortable tennis shoes or something of that nature. But wear dark colored shoes. I mean, even guys who come out wearing white tennis shoes, I mean, we look for those all the time. Guys run into the woods and say, "Hey, look at the guy's white shoes sticking out." So I tell everybody, the first thing you should always do is come out wearing dark clothes. The other thing is, when you're playing, play as a team. Find a buddy, get on the field, and remember, whatever you do, especially if it's your first time, don't run up the middle. Running up the middle allows yourself to be shot from both sides. A paintball field is like a chessboard. It's got boundaries. So it doesn't mean everyone can get around you, unless you go up the middle. So I tell everybody, get to the tape, work your way to the edge of the field. Work with a buddy team, so you can have some guy, someone to watch the inside, and someone to watch ahead of you, you know, you watch ahead of you, and you look both ways. But at the same time, cover the tapes and work yourself around. Most people always run into the middle. And when they run into the middle, they get shot from both angles.

I'm tied in as a climber, Chaz is clipped in here is the belayer, we've already done our safety checks, I'm ready to start, and while I'm climbing, I'm going to give you five tips for how to lead climb, and how to do so effectively and efficiently. One good tip is before you start climbing, to take some time and really try to identify the route. What I mean by that is to try to look for critical spots on the route where maybe you'll get a good rest or maybe some difficult cliffs. You'll notice another tip is that when you're clipping, you want to be doing so from a balanced position with a straight arm. Having these straight arms to make those cliffs is a great way to conserve energy. As I move up a little farther, you'll notice my arm still stays straight clipping. I'm making that clip with a straight arm, and at this point, I'm pretty comfortable, I've good footholds, and I'm on a big jump hold, so I can shake out my arms a little bit to try to get some of that lactic acid out of there. I'll do the same with my other arm. This type of move, shaking out, can really help you to recover while you're climbing. Another pointer is when to chalk up. So right now if I'm moving into a difficult sequence, I might want to chalk up before I go through it, so timing your chalk ups, when to do it, how often to do it, is something you want to consider. So, on a similar note, while timing your chalking up, to make sure you're not doing it excessively, but just kind of as needed, a good idea is to try to identify a crux of the route, which is the most difficult section, or where you expect to have the most trouble, and rather than stopping in the middle to chalk up, or maybe try to make a clip from an awkward position, try to push through that crux, identify the sequence, chalk, prepare yourself, get a good rest and shake out, and move straight through that crux Another tip would be that while I'm climbing, if I'm so scared of falling the whole time, it's going to make me over grip, which means squeezing a lot harder than I need to be, and putting a lot of weight on my arm that doesn't need to be there. I want to keep it on my feet. So a great tip for lead climbing, is to get comfortable falling. You're going to climb a whole lot better if you're not scared to fall. It'll also make it a lot easier to commit to some of those bigger moves. So those are some tips that are really good for lead climbing to help you move efficiently and effectively.

It requires the hammer lock, and to be able to change places when we're not facing each other. Give her the hammer lock step. This is where it gets complicated. First of all, I need to go under her right hand. I step forward. Now, from here we need to rearrange. I need to change places with her. In order to do that, I need to bring this hand down, and this one up. I have to do it at the same time, and slowly, so that I won't hurt my partner. Then, I can get myself out. Again, we find each other in a hammer lock position, and turn her out. Raise my hand, turn her around to hammer lock, walking under her arm, change hands from up to down, get myself out, and turn her. A little faster. You have walk, under, out. Let's try it with some music. Take all the time you need to do this step. And that's our Colocho step.

Watch more Public Speaking Training videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/505059-How-to-Speak-in-Front-of-a-Big-Crowd-Public-Speaking How do you speak in front of a big crowd? You're in front of five hundred, or a thousand, or three thousand people. How do you do it? Here's the secret: it's no different than speaking to one person. Now, I understand it feels different. It feels scary. But here's the secret great speakers have. It doesn't matter if you love Ronald Reagan as a speaker, or Bill Clinton, or Tony Blair. All different speakers, different styles, different politics, but here's one thing they have in common. When they're speaking or were speaking to ten thousand people, or speaking to two people, they sounded exactly the same. So, here's the big secret when it comes to talking to large audiences: don't change yourself. Because most of us, when we're speaking to one friend or two buddies at lunch, we're animated. We're engaging, we're telling stories, and we're giving examples. Our hands are moving. Our face is moving. We get in front of a large audience, and all the things we do that worked for us, all the things that were interesting that made us easy to listen to, we take that, we ball it up, and we throw it in the trash can. And we put on this fake persona, my fellow delegates it's an honor to be here today. We become stiff and we become wooden. Our voice goes flat. We tense up. We grab a lectern. All these things we do because we're scared. The problem is, as much as I love crutches, these crutches don't prop us up. They bring us down. They make us worse. So, you've got to simply tell yourself you're talking to one person. You've got to use that tone of voice. Because these days if you're speaking to a large room of people chances are you're going to have a microphone, so you don't have to speak like this because that's really annoying. You speak in a conversational tone of voice. Here's the other trick: your eye contact. What a lot of people do is they're like this the whole time. They may be moving, but they have this glazed look in their eye. You don't want to do that. Or, they just zoom in here, zoom in here, and here. It's too mechanical. What you want to do is just look at one spot. Ideally, if you can see people, look at one person for a full thought. That's only five seconds or so. Go to another person in a different part of the audience. Pretend you're having a one on one conversation with that person for a full thought. And mix it up. That will make it more relaxing for you. You'll sound like you're talking to one person. And it'll keep your head from bouncing around and looking nervous and scared. The other final tip is, it's one of those things, the more you do it the easier it gets. Seek out opportunities to speak in front of large groups. Don't be one of these people that says, well I could speak to one person, or I can speak to two people, or I can speak sitting in a boardroom, but I'm not a public speaker so I can't. Baloney. If you've ever had one interesting conversation with one person in your entire life you already have all the skills you need to be a great public speaker in front of ten thousand people.
