Watch more How to Do Wing Chun videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/509893-Dan-Chi-Sau-aka-Single-Hand-Chi-Sau-Wing-Chun When the students start to learn chi sao, they start, instead of with two arms, we start with one arm. This is what we call single-arm chi sao, or dan chi sao. And it's a very simple standard format that we start with and this is just a progression. Once the student learns single-arm chi sao, they can then progress to double-arm chi sao. So, we start in a very traditional way. We start using the frontal stance and one partner's going to be in the outside position using fok sau. The other partner is going to be in the inside position using tan sao. Now, what I wanna do, okay, before he learns to defend, is I want to attack him with a palm strike right here. This is in fact the palm strike that we have from the Siu Nim Tau form, okay? It's very important when you do the palm strike in single-arm chi sao not to do the palm strike down. Some instructors teach their students to do the palm strike here. This is a little bit problematic. First of all, if I gave him a full-power palm strike right there to the stomach with my wrist like this, I'll probably end up hurting myself. In the form, this palm strike is actually done horizontally, it's not done low. So this is suited for the palm, or of course, in application, for the face. So, when you practice the palm strike, you wanna make sure that it goes towards your partner's chest. If I have forward pressure and he gives me a low palm strike, I would just go forward and hit him. There's no need for me to chase this arm down here like that. So, when he gives me a palm strike, I'm going to use jam sao to defend, okay? And jam sao is just a slight sinking of the elbow and I occupy the center line here. What you don't wanna do is you don't wanna do anything like jat sao or pull back like this. And sometimes instructors teach our students this. This can be a little dangerous, because you're basically drawing your partner to come in and give you a hit. So when he gives me a palm strike, I'm going to use the jam sao to occupy this line. Now from here, I close my fist, keep my elbow low, and I'm gonna give him a punch, which is going to turn his arm up into bong sao, based on the theory press the head, and then the tail raises here like this. So the standard dan chi exercise looks like this: palm strike, which is reacted to by jam sao, and then punch, he does bong sao like this. Now, if you notice, my elbow is low, my fist is in front of his chest, it's not in front of his face. And the reason is because if I give him a palm strike and he does jam, and he punches me towards my face, I'm going to go forward and wedge him this way here. There's no reason for me to do a bong sao against a face punch because this will just become a ramp for him to hit me in the head. So, I will only do bong sao when he gives me a low elbow punch this way here. When he gives me a high punch towards the face, he's gonna get this one here. There's no need to do bong sao against a high punch. And this is the basic dan chi exercise.

But we don't necessarily want that "Cheese!" sort of look when they're posing in front of the camera. As you can see, at this recent event with 50 Cent, I took the official, you know, all cast photo from one of his production. Wanting more photos of 50 Cent, and not wanting to be intrusive or be in his way, but also wanting to get something a little bit more natural, I tried doing a few other things to get better photos. Let's look at some techniques for making sure that people are a little bit more natural in front of the camera. Firstly, don't tell them to say cheese. That's the worst thing you can do when taking photos at a party. The second thing is, make it look like you're just getting ready to take the photograph. At that point, they're going to be a little bit more relaxed. The muscles are only going to come in and kick into pose mode when that camera's in front of your eye. But by having it all ready and lined up, they're going to be a little bit more relaxed, and a little bit more open to a decent photograph. Another thing I like to do at weddings is have a conversation with people without looking through my camera. Get to know your camera and your lens and what it's capable of, and learn to shoot from the hip or from chest high, and just walk around taking photos as you're expected to. So by being less intrusive or less in-your-face with the camera at a party, you're definitely going to get better event photographs.

To say, "I love you," . . . this one's a very popular Polish term that everybody knows. You say, "Kocham cie (kohaaam chye). Kocham cie (kohaaam chye)." It's two words: (ko-haaam), like ham, but haaam, (ko-haaam chye). There's a little accent on the end of the word there (chye). Kocham cie (kohaaam chye). At full speed, it sounds like this, "Kocham cie (kohaaam chye)." Go ahead, tell me, "I love you." "Kocham cie (kohaaam chye)." Nice. Now, let's get to the nitty and gritty. If you wanna say, "I am in love with you," you say: "Jestem w tobie zokochana (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-na)." That's how a girl would say it to a guy. "Jestem w tobie zokochana (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-na)." Let's break this down. "Jestem (yes-tem) w (v) to (to) bie (bye) zo (za) ko (ko) cha (hah) na (na)." Again, little faster: "Jestem w tobie zokochana (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-na)." At full speed, "Jestem w tobie zokochana (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-na)." Try it. Great. Now, if you wanna say it to a female, you say, "Jestem w tobie zakochany (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-ny)." So, all you do is you just change the a to a y. One more time, "Jestem w tobie zakochany (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-ny)." "Jestem w tobie zakochany (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-ny)." Guys, try this one out, you need it. Perfect. "Jestem w tobie zakochana (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-ha)," "Jestem w tobie zakochany (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-ny)." That's great. Now, if you wanna tone it down a little bit and just say, "I really like you," or "I like you a lot," you say, "Ja cie bardzo lubie (ya chye bar-dzo loo-byeh)." It's four words, "Ja (ya) cie (chye) bardzo (bar-dzo) lubie (loo-byeh). Ja cie bardzo lubie (ya chye bar-dzo loo-byeh)." There's that little accent at the end of lubie (loo-byeh)." Ja cie bardzo lubie (ya chye bar-dzo loo-byeh)." Take your time, but give it a try. Great. "Ja cie bardzo lubie (ya-chye bar-dzo loo-byeh)." And those are a couple different ways to say, "I love you."

Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder that is behaviorally described. It is seen in children and it starts early in life. The issue is in three areas being involved which is your social communication, disordered speech and language, not just delayed language, but disordered language, or atypical language development. And then the area is of restricted, repetitive behaviors and play. And these are the three criteria that have been used in the DSM4. The new classification, which is now the DSM5, really focuses on two areas, which is the disordered social communication, and the repetitive play and stereotypies, etc. So this is a newer classification but there are many other areas that we see with children, beyond the exact DSM diagnosis. A lot of kids have sensory issues. They can be oversensitive to sound and texture or undersensitive. There're kids who have savant skills, very gifted. Parents come in excited, these kids are reading by two and three years of age, and actually these kids have a photographic memory who are just repeating things and have what we call, "echolalia", repeating words or scripting, which is knowing a dialogue from a book or a movie verbatim. So many of these unusual things are also seen in children with what we call now the "Autism Spectrum Disorder." And medical issues is another area that we can talk about, but basically it's important to understand the behavioral disorder involved and making the diagnosis. So the term, "Autism", was first coined by Dr. Leo Kanner in the '40s and he described children with these particular difficulties as I mentioned, with communication, with speech, and with repetitive play and particular interests. But over the years, the naming has changed from childhood schizophrenia to psychosis to pervasive developmental disorders, and that is commonly used as well, but the current language is, "Autism Spectrum Disorders", because it is a matter of degree of involvement. And I think that is very important to understand that we are labeling the children. We are looking at symptoms and we are trying to define them because it becomes important for diagnosis as well as to provide services. I don't want anybody to be just called, "Oh this child is autistic". I want the child to be remembered for who they are, having particular symptoms that we have labeled as having Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Za tob.... There's another accent. Tob.... So there's three quick accents, at the beginning, at the middle, and the end. Tęsknię za tob.... Tęsknię za tob.... I think you've got this one. Give it a try. That's great. Tęsknię za tob.... Now, to say, I'll be back soon, you say zaraz wrócę. Zaraz wrócę. So, it's two words. Zaraz. That one's easy, and then wró. There's a little accent on top of the O, which changes the O to oo, so it's wrócę. There's that E accent again. Wrócę. Wrócę. So you say zaraz wrócę. Zaraz wrócę. Now, tell me you'll be back soon. I believe you. Zaraz wrócę. Now, if you want to ask, when are you coming back? You say kiedy wracasz? Kiedy wracasz? So, a little slower, kiedy, is the first word. Kiedy. Wracasz. Wracasz. Wracasz. Watch more How to Do Wing Chun videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/509894-Seung-Chi-Sau-aka-Double-Arm-Chi-Sau-Wing-Chun So, after a single arm chi sau, the student progresses to double arm chi sau. The first double arm chi sau exercise that we traditionally teach the students, is called pun sau. Pun sau can mean winding or also in a similar way to rotating arms. This is basically an extension of the single arm chi sau, just done with two arms. And the idea is right now at first, not to worry too much about direct attacks coming in, so much as to just kind of feel how your partner's arms move, and to learn to stick to your partner in the same timing. Not to be faster and not to be slower, just to stick to them. Once the students have a fairly decent grasp of pun sau, then we normally will progress into what we call sections or sequence training. Section training is basically just a bunch of routines that the students are going to learn. So, they learn if A attacks with this move, then B will defend with this move. It's very paint by numbers, and this is just a teaching system. This actually isn't the end result that we want in Wing Chun. We don't want to fight according to any kind of program, or drill,s or sequences, but it's kind of a necessary evil to teach the students how to defend certain attacks. We have to give them a starting point. Then eventually, when the students understand how to move and how to flow, then we progress to what we call gwa-sau which is chi sau sparring, or lat sau which is the more aggressive variant, where your partner is basically attacking in any which way. And then we can combine attacks and also sweeps as well, and put the whole Wing Chun arsenal in there. All right? So it becomes limitless. We also add kicks, punches, everything in there to the mix.

While most cameras these days come with a flash, you’ve got to keep in mind that the in-built flash on your camera has a range of maybe four to five feet. It’s not really going to power the lighting for your subjects correctly. Using a speed light, or an external flash, which we can clip on to our camera, allows us to get a lot easier lighting of our image. It’s important, though, not to fire the flash directly at the subject, you’re going to get very, very, harsh light and it’s going to contrast horribly, very bright subject, very dark background. I like to do two things, take my ISL up to about 800 for the purposes of the photograph, and I want to redirect my flash. If I have an assistant shooting with me, I’ll use something like a reflector. These are very, very simple, and allow me to direct the flash directly on to my subject for a softer light. Quite often though, I’m not going to have an assistant with me when photographing an event. You can direct that flash off the ceiling, you can direct that flash off another wall,or you can even direct it off your own shirt, assuming you’re wearing a white shirt, not a clack one. Like I said, it is very important that you don’t direct the light directly at the subject, especially with something like a wedding where the bride’s wearing white. Most wedding dresses have a lot of detail, and firing the flash directly on to a wedding dress is going to blow it out and lose all the detail. With very, very, very simple technique, and redirecting your light, you’re sure to get fantastic light at the next event you photograph.

My name is Dhiran Mistry and I worked at the John Barrett Salon at Bergdorf Goodman and today I'm here with Andrea and we're going to show you how to do a wraparound French side ponytail. So as you can see, Andrea's got great hair to work with and we have a small part. So the first thing you want to do is just to section out this side because we're actually going to use this side at the end just to wrap it around. So I'm just going to pin this part of hair out away just for now, and then at the end, I'm going to incorporate it to wrap it around the ponytail afterwards. So then starting on the other side, taking the hair early from the ear down a section like that and then I'm just going to twist it and grab some her hair underneath and keep twisting. And as my hand goes round, I'm just grabbing some hair from underneath and twisting it around. If you have any loose pieces of hair that are poking out, you can grab a pin and just pop it on there just to hold those hairs in place. You twist it. So as you can see, the hand underneath is picking up those hairs and just adding them to the ponytail. And so eventually you get all the way to the other side. So we have a nice, nice thick ponytail there and the hair is twisted all the way around the back from the left head to the right. And obviously, you can work from left to right or right to left, it doesn't matter. So I'm actually going to use a bungee cord, these are great. You can find them anywhere and they're really good for doing ponytails. You can do a ponytail at any thickness as one of these and you can do them loose or thick. What you want to do is hook one end into the hair and just put it round like so. Again, just hook it back in. and now you have a bungee used as a hair tie. As you go back, you can just double-check that this is all nicely smooth and tacked in. And if you have any loose hairs, you can use your bobby pin and just smooth the hair down and tack it in the bobby pin like so, again, holding the hair down into the bobby pin just to tack those hairs out the way. Once you have your ponytail in place, obviously the back part looks nice and polished but we still have this bungee that's visible. So I'm going to take this side of the hair that we separated earlier. Brush it down to smooth it down slightly so we have a much cleaner look, and then just wrap the hair from that side around the bungee cord. That way, we cover up whatever hair tie or hair band that we've used to hold the hair in place. Afterwards, you might want to use a little bit of hair spray just obviously slightly just to hold down those little hairs that manage to escape sometimes. The good thing about this is it doesn't need to be perfect. It just the idea is to have the hair looking clean, tidy, and so you can definitely see that it works at the back there. Okay, so there you have it. There you have a wraparound French side ponytail.

I am Ellen Goldberg and I welcome you to this tarot moment from the School of Oracles. This segment is to introduce the suit of pentacles. The tarot has four suits: wands, cups, swords, and pentacles. The wands being vitality and beginning, the cups having to do with emotions, psychic events, the swords with truth, identity, and process and change, and here, we come to the suit of Earth: pentacles. Results. Pentacles are all about life on the Earth plain. They are about material manifestation. When there are many pentacles in a reading, you know they are interested in what has actually manifesting in your life. Its also about the world as a path to spirit. Because pentacles are not just Earth; they represent a philosophy, that everything in this world, in this material world, is imbued with spirit. Some people call pentacles a coin or a disc. You will hear them describe variously by different taroists and in different books, but I prefer the name pentacles, and you see that the title pentacle, is on the card, and the pentacle is not just a coin, it is a magical symbol of Earth. Notice the pentagram, the symbol of man, on the pentacle. The pentacles have a season; that season is winter and they have a direction; that direction is North. Pentacles are not just the material ground that we walk on; they also represent home and our most personal home, the home of our spirit and soul, our body. So, again, when there are many pentacles in a reading, they could equally be talking about manifestation of some project, your own body, your home, the results and they also deal with work. Wands deal with work also, but in an entrepreneurial sense. Pentacles deal with work in the idea of things that are made and sold. I hope you have enjoyed this introduction to the pentacles and I hope to see you soon again. Bye for now.

So if you’re looking at something on the internet, you have a couple of options. You have a track pad. You can actually just take two fingers and go from being pinched together to moving apart and whatever you’re viewing it’s going to get bigger whether it’s pictures or text, anything at all. Then you just take two fingers and then pinch them back together to get it back to its original size. Additionally, if you prefer to use the keyboard, you can hold down the Command key and the Plus key. So you go Command and you hit the Plus however many times you’d like to make it bigger. And then to make it smaller, you do the same thing but with the Minus key. Now in some applications you can also make the text bigger in that specific program. So we’re going to open up the Mail application and in here we’reviewing a message. Now you can make the text bigger the same way by using the command and the plus and then minus again to make it small. Or, you can set an overall rule that the font is going to be larger. So when you go to your preferences for mail by going to Mail and then Preferences. You’ll have a lot of tabs at the top. The one we want to look at is fonts and colors. Then you’ll see “message font,” you can go to “select” on the right-hand side and you can pick a larger font from there. Now when we select that it gets bigger in the message. So that’show you can increase your font on a Mac.

Then you are going to take your feet and walk those feet all the way back up towards your hands here. So you are really getting that deep stretch in the back of the legs. And then you can continue walking out. So you continue, again, walking all the way out and then bringing those feet back in. So I'll show you again. This way. Start standing out nice and tall, legs straight, walk those hands all the way out, and then bring those feet all the way into those hands. Getting that nice final stretch in the back of those legs. And that's how you do the inchworm stretch for a nice sexy butt.

We can all think of someone in the media who this may or may not have happened to. So the way to not have that pulled too tight experience is once again to go to a board certified experienced surgeon. There are many different techniques when one discusses performing face lifts. And generally that pulled too tight technique is when the skin is used in order to perform the supporting of the soft tissues of the face. Their are many layers of the face and many years ago the standard technique was use just the skin to get the result we were looking for and to elevate all the soft tissue back up into the correct position. Over the years and today the technique has evolved we now incorporate dissection and suturing and stitching of different layers of the face that have more strength and have more support deeper layers of the face. In addition we preform a lot of fat grafting which is when we take fat from the body and transfer to the face. So, the combination of these techniques has allowed us to move away from that pulled too tight skin only look to a more natural, refreshed, youthful, full face look which only can be performed by addressing the deeper structures of the face.

So this is a really good way to stretch out the glute and the hip area if you're really tight, or after doing a lot of glute exercises, glute-targeted exercises. So you want to lay down on your back. Take one of your legs, cross them over the bottom leg. And then you're going to pull that bottom leg all the way in towards you. Making sure you keep the leg that's on top rotated out, the knee stays rotated out. You pull that leg all the way in towards. You're going to feel this right away, a deep stretch throughout that glute and that hip area. So pull it all the way in, breathe deeply in through your nose, out through your mouth. Just relax, feel that stretch. Good, you can hold it there for about 10 to 20 seconds, and then switch to the other side. Same way, make sure you keep that knee turned all the way out. And you bring that leg all the way towards you as far as you can, really getting deep stretch in the back of that leg, the glute area, the outer hip area. And then just release it. And that how you do the figure for stretch for a sexy butt.

First of all, you want to start with a powder or a cream that has no shimmer in it. So what I like to do is contour from the base of the hairline right down under the cheekbone, right along the jaw line, and maybe a little bit on the eye, blending up into the hairline, a tiny bit around the forehead, and then blend it out with a sponge brush. In order to make that contouring stand out, you want to highlight as well, so taking a shimmer highlighter or a flat highlighter. It can even be a really light foundation. you want to go in the opposite areas, so you want to create a little highlight under the eyes, like this, maybe down the bridge of the nose, and right here underneath the stripe of contour that you just put in. Another thing you can do if you're Asian, and you feel like your nose is maybe flatter than you'd like it to be, is take a little bit of that contour with a little bit of an eyeshadow brush, and run in right down the bridge of your nose, and then blend out. This is a nice way to create light and dimension on your face, without it looking too false.

First is how is the face lift performed. If it was performed by a board certified plastic surgeon then the technique used was most likely a good technique. If the support structures of the face were correctly addressed and everything was lifted back up in the proper manner then a well performed face lift is supposed to last approximately 10 years. The other aspect of this question is how well has the patient taken care of his or herself after the surgery. Sun exposure, smoking and an unhealthy lifestyle all lead to a poorer post operative result and potentially the need for more corrective surgery in the future. But the general rule of thumb is that a well performed face lift should last approximately ten years.

This is a huge question on etiology and there's a lot of research happening. What we definitely do know is there is a genetic predisposition, although there isn't one particular gene that is responsible. It is a cascade of multiple, different genes that are involved where that single nucleotide polymorphisms which means, little slips or little alterations in the genes that are there and you know, you see it run down families and sometimes you can find what they call an autism phenotype where other family members can have issues like OCD or social phobia and schizophrenia etcetera but there also seems to be some environmental or possible triggers that have been looked at and we know of medical conditions where we have a dual diagnosis with autism like with Fragile X Syndrome or with Tuberous Sclerosis etcetera. So there are definite medical conditions but the actual cause of autism is still being researched. There are many hypotheses and a lot of abnormalities that are often seen in children with the autism spectrum which is raising concerns. Children tend to have more GI, gastrointestinal problems; immune issues are being researched as well as mitochondria dysfunction which means at a cellular level there seem to be some differences that you are finding in kids with the autism spectrum, so it that causative, is that associated? There is a lot of information out there and a lot of new research being done but we don't have a single cause for it and I know parents want to know that, what caused this to happen to my child and I think this is driving the research forward.
