Recently I started studying Peek-A-Boo boxing style using some archive videos. Hopefully someone can find them useful. Stance: both feet are shoulder width, left foot forward, right foot back with right great toe being in line with the left heel. Knees bend slightly, elbows cover the sides, the fists right below the eyes..peek above the gloves. Since I study on my own critiques are welcome.

Few ways to move around using peek a boo style. Stay low and keep moving your head. Its rather hard on the quads. It is excellent workout. 20 min of footwork, heavy bag and shadow boxing will guarantee about 500 cal. Combine that with some other cardio like Jump Rope for 5 min and you can easily get almost up to 800cal, and its fun too.

Very busy schedules lately but found a few minutes to practice the Jack Dempsey stiff jab. This is a raw video so kill the sound. There are 3 steps: 1. put the weight on your front foot 2. Fall forward and then catch yourself by making a small step forward (I actually do step slightly to the left) 3. Torque the torso to put shoulder behind the punch..deliver the jab I strongly advise you put a grain of salt here and better yet read his book as to how to do it properly. This works for me rather nice.

These are few of my speed building routines. All are done with 5lb dumbbell and few with 20lb. I usually do them until my muscles start to burn and once I'm done with them I move to the heavy bag. I hope you find something useful and sorry about the stupid balloons. :-)

Getting some punishment here, which is a good thing. Its not really Peek-A-Boo style mostly boo style (this was at the end of the workout and I was really tired LOL also sorry about the squeaky shoes the gym was closed for renovation and they put brand new flooring. Its nice) PS: you can now find me on Instagram under savcob I dont have a sparring partner anymore so its mostly heavy bag workouts and some fitness.
