This is my blind LP (Let's Play) and Walkthrough of Half-Life: Opposing Force made by VALVE and GEARBOX

New Guns Tested
Half-Life: Opposing Force is an expansion pack for Valve Software's science fiction first-person shooter video game Half-Life. The game was developed by Gearbox Software and Valve Corporation and published by Sierra Entertainment on November 1, 1999. Opposing Force is the first expansion for Half-Life and was first announced in April 1999. Randy Pitchford, the lead designer on the game, later noted that he believed Gearbox was selected to develop Opposing Force because Valve wanted to concentrate on their future projects. Over the course of development, Gearbox brought in a variety of outside talent from other areas of the video games industry to help bolster various aspects of design. The game was released on Steam on September 28, 2005.
Opposing Force returns to the same setting as Half-Life, but instead portrays the events from the perspective of a U.S. Marine, one of the enemy characters in the original game. The player character, Adrian Shephard, is sent in to neutralize the Black Mesa Research Facility when a scientific mishap causes it to be invaded by aliens, but quickly finds that the Marines are outnumbered and slowly being beaten back by a second alien race and black operations units. Opposing Force was received well by critics, many describing it as the new benchmark title for expansion packs, in a similar fashion to how Half-Life revolutionized the first-person shooter genre. Other reviewers, however, thought that the game still had many of the negative aspects of other expansion packs, although it was still regarded as an exceptional add-on.

I think you only get 10 snarks throughout all of OpFor. They're especially fun to use in multiplayer. Dethmatchers hate getting eaten to do0mdeth by beetlebugs.
10:36 GLaDOS meets Foamy the Squirrel! XD
Use the Shockroach on headcrabs. It's like Adrian's counterpart to Gordon's Hivehand.
Yeah that's definitely a glitch and you should be able to go in there. Unless you use cheats by entering into console command: 'sv_cheats 1' then 'noclip' basically allowing you to fly around the map and through walls, and unless you try and try again patiently you can't get into that area.
In the Black Mesa (HL 1 remake) the things in the ceiling with the sticky tongue/rope will actually eat other creatures, like headcrabs - you can even give them boxes to eat - But if you give them a box or something that's isn't alive they will chew a bit on that item and then toss it somewhere lol.
I don't know if this works in other half-life games
I know this is from a year ago, but if you come across these games again, go to console and type sv_cheats 1. Once you do that, type noclip. Also, you can type god for no health loss and impulse 101 for all weapons/ammo and some armor.
That's probably because it's a bit confusing. First of all, you have to activate cheat mode. In the GoldSrc engine, you have to enter "sv_cheats 1" in the console, and then (this is the part many people miss) load a map, by e.g. finding a loading screen or loading a game (quicksave followed immediately by quickload should work); cheat mode doesn't take effect until that happens. After that, you can then say "noclip".
It works almost identically in Source, but sv_cheats takes effect immediately.
In this episode he was mentioned by the holographic scientist (6:09) and i'm pretty sure i heard somebody mention him earlier. It's just another little context detail for later (speculative at least), just like the microwave. I think you'll understand it when it's time
2:25 I know that song, but i have no idea where i know it from
5:30 it did damage you. -2 hp :D
It's interesting how the administrator is mentioned so many times in BS and OF. Never noticed that. And yes, that is somewhat important
Sweet mother of HD... 1080p... Good for people with internet connection from this century
Yeah, i mentioned those glitchy elevators... Apparently this one is completely busted. Just jump just before it stops
In Blue Shift, I had a glitch where elevators made the scientists inside explode lol.
Btw, that barnacle gun can pick up headcrabs and suck them in, killing them on contact and the alien weapon that shoots green balls has a secondary fire that shoots bouncing projectiles.
In your defense, they didn't really make it very clear that you were supposed to pick up the barnacle gun (or that it was even something you could pick up). As for the glitch, I don't remember this game very well but perhaps try jumping just before the elevator stops?
I never played Opposing Force, so this is all new (and very cool) to me. But if that's a glitch you could simply noclip out of it, as it seems you're just stuck in the floor. Simply do /noclip in console to activate, you'll be able to move freely in all dimensions, and again /noclip to deactivate. Again, I don't know if there's a non-'console cheating' way to pass the glitch, but that's my solution.
