This still surprise me, just how some people have no idea about Planfasciron Secrets (do a search on google), despite the fact that lots of people completely cure their plantar fasciitis naturally with this remedy. Thanks to my mate who told me about Planfasciron Secrets, I finally eliminated my pain for good by using healthy approaches.
My wife got a set from Walmart, they have a machine that analyzes your foot and tells you which one to buy, they cost around $50 I think however they only did limited good for my wife. Going to give Mayo's ideas a try, met someone that swore by the z-coil shoes but see some on the Internet calling them just a gimmick so hard to know and sure see a lot of used ones for sale so how good could they be? If they were great why would so many be selling them? Steer clear of "cures"!
I got the orthotics from Dr Schols - the machine they have in stores - and are a God-send. My plantar fascitis went away completely. I can walk all day without any pain. I recommend them to everyone. I orginally went to an orthotic store who were going to charge me $300, and these were only $50, and are completely worth it.
@1uac I have been the same for about 2 1/2 years. I'm resorting to cortisone injections. Getting it this week, I hope it helps. My Dr also recommended Shockwave therapy. Apparently, it's very effective, but I have no drug plan so I can't afford it. :(
I hope that answers your question!!!!
Heat: The use of superficial heat for 5-10 min pre exercise warms the tissue up allowing for a more effective stretch.
Typically a heating pad, warm pack, or bucket of warm water can suffice.
I found the perfect relief and it was reasonably priced! I had constant pain from P.F. in my right heel. I found Happy Feet insoles at a tradeshow and have been pain free after wearing them for only 3 days. I no longer have that pain when I walk! I paid $40 for them which is wayyyy less than the orthotic my podiatrist wanted to prescribe me and they have a 1 year warranty, too! The promo code/coupon listed on the package says 602. Hope this helps you too!!
I have always bought my workout shoes at a quality running store. For the last 15 years I have worn the same brand and model of shoe. This time after I purchased them within one week of wearing them started having the symptoms. I decided to make sure it was the shoes that caused it so did the ice and stretching for 3 weeks. Was much much better. Just put the shoes back on last night -- wore them for 2 hours -- and extreme pain again - help!
The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Clair Davies is an excellent book, I agree. It's GREAT for so many issues it's a huuuge wonder why doctors aren't taught about trigger point therapy. I use it every day in my practice and have helped so many people out of severe pain. Frozen shoulders, plantar fasciitis, headaches, low back pain, tennis elbow, and tons more. Anyone with any chronic pain should check it out :) It's free, you can do it yourself most of the time and certainly worth a try.
I'm encouraged by this video that with care I will be able to walk again. I was thinking that I have become a cripple! I does hurt so bad first thing in the morning. I just lean on my bed until my foot get used to my weight. Weirdly my pain began right after I took some prednisone for another condition. I had a dream that something was going on with my heel and the next day it began. I'll be more gentle when exercising until my foot recovers. At least I don't have to quit exercising forever!
Great video for those of us who experience this condition; as clear and thorough as could be within a timeframe of a few minutes. I've just added a night splint to my treatment regimen, and find that so far it really helps. Thanks for posting.
I work in a Pedorthic facility and this video hit it right on the head. Stretching, heat, ice, and orthotic. Night splint best way to go.. I've seen the after effects of surgery from patients coming in.. I'd NOT recommend even if Last resort.
so far ive only been advised of icing, keep using good cushioned / comfortable sneakers and consider orthotic insoles.... my dr did mention something about keeping the foot flat during sleep but didnt really explain or touch base on it... after this vid now i understand what she meant. if things dont work as well with the things i was told i may consider a night splint
After I got plantar fasciitis baseball has become quite hard for me when it comes time to run, I have gotten this 2 years in a row now,and the 1st year my parents and I didn't know what it was, so we basically left it untreated, but it went away in less then 4-6 weeks, and I was suffering horrible pain, I couldn't even walk. Now this year I know what to do, and this video helped A TON.
