COCOA / COCONUT OIL / COFFEE
...on COCOA and kidney stones:
"Calcium oxalate stones, as kidney stones are called, are caused by several things, such as by foods.
These include, among other things, vegetables such as beets, asparagus, rhubarb, nuts, and beetroots (garden beets, red beets), etc.
However, other products are also to be mentioned, such as cocoa and cocoa products.
Also, poor nutrition, deformities of the kidneys, as well as urinary obstruction and urinary tract infections can be causes for kidney stones.
However, foods that contain a lot of oxalate are particularly the ones that form kidney stones.
What is also significant in this regard is sugar, which is why sugar-rich foods and beverages, etc. shouldn’t be enjoyed in excess but only in moderation and with a limit."
...on COCONUT OIL benefits:
"The metabolism can be stimulated with natural, high-quality, organic, cold pressed coconut oil due to this oil containing triglycerides, which are simply called MCT and which when found in nature are only contained in very few oils.
These fats are not absorbed by the body and therefore do not behave like fats. They also lower cholesterol levels, and they also stimulate the metabolism, they deliver high quality energy to the body and promote the absorption of calcium and magnesium. It is also worth knowing that triglycerides are burned long before the proteins, which is otherwise only the Koh- Lehydrates is reserved. During cooking, coconut oil can be used very well and especially because it does not develop harmful pollutants, because it remains stable even under heat and stimulates the metabolism, while other oils that are treated industrially can not do so."

Just recently discovered your channel, some great info for further research on my quest for maintaining health thru my Middle Ages and beyond. I have one point of contention , due to recent shoulder injury an ultrasound discovered calcification in my shoulder joint. This is concerning to me at 49 yrs and leading an active life, regularly surfing and cycling. I did a deep dive looking for as much info on this as I could find. This led to the discovery through WAPF the work of Norman Childress and his book about the nightshade family of plants and their link to calcification of joints and other parts of the body including coronary arteries. The mechanism apparently is through calcitriol a form of vitamin D which is far more powerful than regular vitamin D and can cause calcium to be deposited in joints and other tissue including arteries. I’m now on a nightshade free diet, which can be difficult as nightshade are in so many foods. As soon as I can will get coronary calcium scan. I do supplement magnesium and K2 and eat butter, coconut oil, eggs, liver, seafood etc and make all my own food from scratch with all fresh ingredients so hopefully all good.
Testosterone is made from cholesterol, eat eggs. Testosterone is a 19-carbon steroid hormone made from cholesterol. On average, a man's body produces about 7 mg of testosterone a day, but not all of that T floating in our bloodstream can be used by our bodies.
I have been eating pretty much everything on your list my entire life. Could lean ground turkey be used in lieu of the ground beef? Also, would canned oysters be as beneficial as fresh? I live in Houston so fresh harvested oysters are not difficult to obtain. It is interesting to me to see if this is an acceptable substitute as most 'canned' oysters are ridiculously small. This is a curiosity to me really. I love them as a snack yet I am not sure of the total benefit due to shelf life and preservatives.
I'm not buying into #1, the carbs/taters are essential for Testosterone bit. I looked at some of those studies and they did stuff like comparing one group that ate low carb/high protein and another that was high carb/low protein, over a period of only a few days. Neither group was adapted to a low carb/high fat diet which can take weeks to become efficient. They were testing people in the most difficult induction period of such a diet. I have no beef with people that load carbs for serious workouts, but there's also a lot of junk science out there and until someone can convince me carbs are necessary for Testosterone, I not buying it. Taters are tasty however.
Good vid man, however anyone can read stuff off a laptop and show studies, but when you mispronounce the names and stutter and stammer it shows that you probably haven't really studied it and don't really know about it. Your just reading the screen. Like the information but kinda don't believe you i this one. sorry
Are you reading the studies? Some of those studies only showed the abstract and required payment. These days you can never be too careful. There is junk science out there. They might do all the math right but there is some aspect of the physical world that gets over looked, or even ignored.
Lots of bad advice and misinformation-since you like scientific research -go ahead and search bacon(animal fat )and red meat(organic or not ) and dairy foods that increase risk of prostate cancer -if you eat what you preach in 20 years you will have heart problems and prostate cancer-but maybe high testosterone?
Here is a list of the whole food plant based items on his list.

Thank you for your helpful advice, I just wanna know that pink ( Himalaya ) salt is good as sea salt or not?
The other question is about lamb meat rather than beef, cause cows, grow up with external hormones!?
What's your opinion about it...
And the last one is beef jerky!
that has more harm than benefits, I searched about it a lot and most of the researches shows that it's not very good for body.
Sorry for my bad English.😊
If you're not a fan of veggies, I recommend drenching everything in pesto. Pesto is made from crushed garlic, pine nuts, basil leaves, parmesan and sheep's milk, blended with olive oil. All good ingredients and it tastes great.
Many of your food recommendations will lead to heart disease, diabetes, cancer and a multitude of other diseases as one ages. If you were to have the slightest interest in checking this out you for yourself you could actually investigate a plethora of scientific studies. Even more easy would be to check out several people who have done the investigation of these studies for you and if skeptical about any of their conclusions check the actual references to the actual studies they have evaluated or done . A good place to start is Michael Greger, Joel Fuhrman, T Colin Cambell, Dr. Esselstyne, John McDougal, Dean Omish; all of whom are researchers and or medical doctors.
Awesome video! I`m in my 40`s now, but I`m seeing results after a few months of following this advice; I have more energy & focus, and my workouts are more productive in terms of strength & muscle mass. Sincere thanks for posting this.
Christopher Walker I have a question is testosterone what what endocrinologist testing for when they test thyroid patients t levels or am I way off lol sorry if it's a dumb question and is all these foods good for women to or do you have a video for that can you leave me the link? Thank you
I think I have a boost in T thanks to your advices. Meanwhile I have noticed a problem that is pretty annoying: when I'm with a woman that I like I get pain in my lower abdominal and testicels. Sometimes it gets very painful. Also I feel the need to urinate a lot but don't know if during those times I really need to go or not. I guess it is my prostate that gets bigger and pushes against my urinary system. Any advice to those problems?
I love that pointed out the inflammatory properties of grains!!! I've tried to school people on this for years!
I constantly hear about how they've always been a staple of the human diet for many years.. which is true.. but people didn't live long lol...
Raisins is spelled wrong "rasins" ( ummm . . you went to Duke :) Actually do you know about grape-seed oil, I'm sick of olive oil. I suppose I could find out. Also maybe I should PM you but have you investigated how to produce more semen, i.e. would that mean fertility? Would that come with an increase in T?
I'm an American currently teaching English in Turkey. All of these foods can be found on the shelves of most local grocery stores here! You can buy raw oysters off the streets of Istanbul everywhere, and pomegranate juice is actually cheaper than orange juice here. Turkish yogurt is basically Greek yogurt and you can get a tub of it for next to nothing. (that coconut oil might be pricey though) Basically, your list is a typical Mediterranean/Middle Eastern diet.
Did extensive reading for suggested Baking Soda, it says 0.3g/kg of body mass per day, imagine a 70kg person that needs 21g of Baking soda, which contains around 6000mg of sodium. Not really make sense for a bodybuilder who follows a relatively low sodium diet.
