Everyone makes videos and stuff about it. But no one does anything to actually cut out the toxic environment in the medical field. I'm talking about issues like horrible attendings, embarrassment of students, yelling at them etc. The old way still prevails.

What a impressive this was. Thanks for reminding that you or your co-worker may need help sometimes to treat the issue as a doctor 👍👏

I'm medical trainee and I feel hopeless for along time. I can't tell anyone because I supposed to be more strong than others from my own society's point of view .

Kit Kat - Thank you for opening up to us here. It's important to talk about how you're feeling and what you're experiencing.

I'm the first like? Really? People are always talking about veterans, policemen etc. But nobody talks about this. I work in this field and I know this is very real. And everyone is always ready to criticize the medical staff for anything. But nobody asks when was the last time they got a chance to take a break, or even sleep. Or since when was the last time they saw their family (sometimes physicians have 20+ hrs shifts, or have to leave their home town to help elsewhere because of an emergency). No one talks about the pressure this career can have a persons life. We should all be more considerate. Thanks Mayo clinic for posting this.
