By now you have probably heard about the Waist:Hip Ratio, the best clinical measure for determining central obesity and risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, stroke and even some forms of cancer.
But how do you calculate your risk if you aren't obviously obese?
Enter the Waist:Height Ratio.
Measure around your waist at the belly button and x2.
Measure your height.
If your waist measurement x2 is larger than your height measurement, then you are high risk for heart disease, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, stroke and even some forms of cancer.
