Bret Hart is Austin's greatest rival. Austin always had an upper hand on Rock, and their feud was comedic. Bret and Austin felt like genuine heat. Nothing can top it. Plus Bret and Austin's matches are gold standard.
stone cold can't be setting us up like that cuz he knew as soon as he finished saying that's the bottom line he knew the viwer thats watching would finish his statement...CUZ STONE COLD SAID SO....(shattered glass)
Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Edge & CM Punk are the only wrestlers who were fucking awesome as face and heel both. 😍😍
Best in ring, best on the mic, best in the commentary, best in interviews.
I don't get why people think that Steve Austin and CM Punk wouldn't be a good match. You do know that Phil(Punk) was one of Steves biggest fans, used some of his phrases as a commemoration, and wore Stone Colds apparel during some of his pipe bombs. Punk was figuratively the second coming of Stone Cold's attitude since he started. Punk and Steve Austin were two of the best the business has ever seen and the amount of hype and money that they would have drawn would have been the most successful thing the business has done in since the Michaels/Undertaker match.
Back in the attitude era, wwe wrestlers like stone cold and the rock influenced the entire entertainment industry and people. I remember going to middleschool and see people pull stone cold stunners on each other lol
When asked if he could change one event in his career, I was certain he would say his heel turn back in 01 which he has mentioned in his documentary. But walking out was a bigger mistake because it was cowardly. I actually liked his heel turn.
poopsyko CM Punk is one of the best wrestlers of all time, as is stone cold. He got beat in a fight, but that doesn't make him a worse wrestler. Bottom line is that match would have a huge draw if it happened.
It's kind of a self reinforcing philosophy in wrasslin'. If you started hurting ppl in the ring, somebody's gonna hurt you back. Except for New Jack. He should be in prison for some of the things he's done in the ring.
Jay Casado that's not why he hated him. HBK disrespected Rock's grandmother. Also, during a Rock vs HHH match with HBK as the ref, HBK was kinda stiff with his sweet chin music (he also spit on Rock). Rock called him out on it in the back, and HBK gave him attitude, Rock beat him up.
Bret was a pure wrestler, and if you read his book u can see the differences between him and his major 90s rival Shawn Michaels. Both great wrestlers, but Shawn was always about the flashy stuff while Bret was about the fundamentals.
The hitman truly was the best/was/ever will.... He never hurt anybody and of course he was good... Plus Bret hart basically made Stone cold in giving him his big put over.... Stone cold, Bret hart and Mr perfect are prob the best ever
I want his babies. He's one of those people that need to be cloned or preserved for future generations. I'm more than happy to give him sons to further his bloodline.
You think I'm crazy but I'm serious.
Actually the bottom line is about accounts. If you sold $1billion dollars of t shirts but it cost you $1billion 500 dollars. The bottom line is you lost $500! Turnover, cost of sales, profit before tax and bottom line is: profit after tax - because STONE COLD SAID SO!
I would a thought the biggest thing Austin wish he could of changed, would of been the pile driver that ended his in ring career. Now looking back, now I see why he chose when he walked out of WWE By the time of the pile driver, Austin pretty much IMO done all there was to do in the WWE Maybe had the pile driver happened in the midst of the Austin-McMahon feud, then I could see that being the one thing he would love to have changed. Just saying.
Actually, the piledriver from Owen Hart took place in 97, before stone cold became super hot , before he became champion etc. It actually is what brought on the Austin vs Vince storyline, because when he was out for a bit but they had him on TV, they played an angle with Vince trying to say stay home and take care of yourself, etc, and that is when he first stunned Vince, slowly starting the feud. He didnt have neck surgery until 99, and stayed wrestling till 2003, when he felt it was time to end it because his neck and body were beat up.
